Good substitution
I was buying a different brand of fish oil regularly, but it's been out of stock for a long time now. This was a good substitute. I give this to all 3 of my dogs with their morning food 5x/week for different issues. My older dog gets this to mainly help w/his joints, as well as keep his skin and brain healthy. Also for my 2 year old who came from TX to CT and had major shedding issues once winter hit. And lastly our newest 5 year old to help w/his very dry, flaky skin. I've seen very visible improvements in each dog for each issue. I highly recommend this product and will continue to buy.
Really Good
I got this with some reservations after reading the reviews which seemed to contain a lot of references to leaking bottles. Well, maybe bottle does NOT leak. At least not so far. My Ralphie seems to like the oil. Eats up his dinner with no issues. I'm very happy with this product. I will be ordering again.
Careful with this oil
This company needs to be more specific about the doses for this product. I gave this to my cat per their half pump instructions and she was sick in a matter of days. It caused her to have pancreatitis. So this bottle of $30 cost me over $3,000.00 on vet bills as my cat had to be in the ICU for 3 days. It was not good for my pet at all.
Great product and value
I bathed my long hair cat during winter given he had an oil tail. But after bath, he shedded more than usual and lost his mane. I gave him this fish oil with his dry food. I can see improvements after a couple weeks. Hope he grow back his silky fur.
Good Product
My dogs love the flavor, and their coats are definitely a lot more shiny and soft. I haven't had any issues with the pump so far. The only complaint I have is the way the bottle came packaged. Both times, it has been smashed underneath a large bag of food. Luckily, it didn't leak either time.
Bad allergic reaction
I really wanted to like, this unfortunately my dog was vomiting for 3 days straight and also had diarrhea. It was a very difficult situation, he could not keep anything down and I thought I would have to take him to the vet, but he luckily pulled through on his own. Needless to say, I will not be able to use this product
Better than Salmon Oil
My vet said fish oil from smaller fish is better than salmon oil becuase it has less mercury. I give this to both my dogs (3 year old male Lab and 8 year old female Lab/Golden). It has helped their coats and it keeps my older lady healthy.
Not working
Unfortunately this did not work for my cats they will not eat their food or treats with this oil. This was recommended because of the dry heat in the house
Great Option
My only complaint about this products is that it failed to arrive with the pump. I would still like to have it. Squeezing the bottle just isn't the same. I've had my Lab on some form of fish oil for about 6 months and it makes her coat so soft and I know it's also helping her joints. I think every dog needs fish oil and this particular product is a good option.
Very noticeable improvement
My GSD puppy was having dandruff and itchy skin problems when she was younger. It hasn't been a problem since giving her this supplement on her food. I bathe her once a month and she still doesn't have dry skin problems. Her coat is shiny and soft. Our first bottle lasted 7 months (can't accurately say how long the next will last since she's up to 55lbs now). Love that it's only fish oil and no preservatives or other additives. This us the cheapest option per oz that I saw on chewy and it is definitely worth it!
