My sweet boy has a protein allergy and can only have his special RX food and fruits and vegetables. He was recently put on Zyrtec for allergies and trying to find something I can give him the pill in, all pill pockets have protein in them. So I found these and gave them a try. I take a hard plastic straw and poke a hole into it then pop his pill in the hole and he eats it right up with no problems. Highly recommend for any dogs that can’t have protein and needs to take pills.

Excellent Alternative Pill Pocket for Allergy Pup

The recipe for these chews recently changed and are no longer sticky like they used to be. Initially I wasn’t sure about the improvement, but after some time now,

The recipe for these chews recently changed and are no longer sticky like they used to be. Initially I wasn’t sure about the improvement, but after some time now, they are better to handle and my dog still loves them. This flavor is a stand out because this is the only one my dog consistently is excited about. I’m able to poke a couple small holes into the chew and easily place his pills. My old man (16 next month) has food sensitivities and this has been a nice alternative with great ingredients.
