Does the automatic feeder adjust to time zones? Or is this done through the app?

Once the feeder is connected and meals are scheduled successfully, the feeder is ultimately powered by the adapter and power cable. If the WiFi goes out, the feeder will continue to feed according to the meal schedules. However, the feeding result will not show up in the feeding log until WiFi connectivity is restored.

This is my second unit, and I can confidently say it’s the best on the market. The connection is seamless, the app is intuitive, and the technology is top-tier. As someone who travels, this gives me total peace of mind. Beyond safety, the camera quality is stunning. By reviewing the HD footage, I noticed a tiny detail I’d never seen in person: my cat was only chewing on the left side of his mouth and dropping kibble. Because of this "close-up" monitoring, I caught his early-stage gingivitis before it got worse. A standard camera would have missed this! It’s not just a feeder; it’s a 24-hour health monitor. Absolutely worth every penny!

I have used an SD card with it instead of paying for the subscription and that works fine for my needs. I also upgraded to the dual bowl since I have two cats. This is a great product!

Horrible Customer Support of an only ok product

If you plan on using these feeder for daily feedings when you are home it's great--if you plan on using this feeder for while you are traveling I cannot recommend

If you plan on using these feeder for daily feedings when you are home it's great--if you plan on using this feeder for while you are traveling I cannot recommend it. It frequently loses connection to WiFi which requires a physical reset of the feeder. This company does not stand behind their products nor honor their 2 year warranty--they will send you quick AI replies and then when it's "escalated to a supervisor" you will never hear back. I bought this feeder 1.5 years ago and apparently they switched chip suppliers and will no longer support the app that was used to control the feeders. tl;dr When it works it works great but it will stop working while you are traveling and there is nothing you can do it about.

Great app - Bad unit design

My cat likes to eat from the outer edge of the bowl (closest to her) and usually leaves a bit on the other edge (closest to the feeder). But it always gets jammed

I fell in love with this feeder as soon as I learned it’s also a cat-cam. I spend quite a bit of time away from home, so knowing I can get some peace of mind is great. Setting up the feeder and its app was pretty easy, but make note it does not include batteries or the SD card necessary for the camera. The app immediately guides you to sign up for its subscription, but the feeder works just as well without the monthly fee. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase!

This is our second camera feeder from Petlibro, bought about 18 months after the first one for our second cat. Unfortunately, during thar time they eliminated the previous control app & replaced it with a UI nightmare. When setting up the feeding schedule frequency, the default should be everyday. IT'S NOT OBVIOUS THAT YOU HAVE TO TOUCH EACH DAY TO TURN ON THAT DAY'S FEEDING WITH A CHECKMARK, ESPECIALLY SINCE EVERYTHING ELSE IS TURNED ON WITH A TOGGLE SWITCH. I had a very hungry kitty for several nights, luckily someone came by to give wet food in the AM. The old app (now gone) was better, more intuitive & fewer choices to control, plus didn't try to upsell you with a subscription every few minutes. I wish I had known that the new app was so bad prior to purchasing, but the old app was reliable & still works. Wish I could control the new feeder with the old app. Cannot recommend.

The only issue I have (I have 2 of the same machine) is that the machines are not consistent withe the amount of food they dispense. Same food, same settings - one machine gives half the amount of the other and even those amounts vary each time. We are making it work. Just so convenient.

I like my old feeder better, not for large dogs

This looks like a cat feeder irl. The bowl is very small. I have a 55 lb lab and I'm using this. It works because she eats 1cup per meal 2/day and the feeder

This looks like a cat feeder irl. The bowl is very small. I have a 55 lb lab and I'm using this. It works because she eats 1cup per meal 2/day and the feeder drops the food slowly so she eats the kibbles before they pile up. The storage holds about 14 1-cup meals so I refill every week. It doesn't warn me about the food being low until the second to last or last meal. It's not consistent but neither is enough of a warning. I check it frequently to be sure the food doesn't run out. So that's a pain. The app is okay but I don't think there's a way to drop any food as a snack or if enough didn't drop, without opening the storage and using your hand to pull out some food and drop it in the bowl. If there is away to do it on the machine by pressing a button, I haven't figured it out. And to get on the app to do a one time feed is not quick/easy. I miss my old feeder and wish it hadn't died. I'll be glad when this one is ready to be replaced but for the cost, my dog and I will just have to deal with it until then.

DON't believe their warranty

When this one was working, it was fine. However, then we started to have constant connections issues, requiring rebooting and resetting. Finally, it stopped working

When this one was working, it was fine. However, then we started to have constant connections issues, requiring rebooting and resetting. Finally, it stopped working last month. Their customer service is TERRIBLE regarding warranty claims. They responded quickly within the first day and then started to long stall and long waits. They asked ridiculous information like videos of units, app screenshots, and then asked me to try random troubleshooting steps including using a second phone as a hotspot and using a TF card (what if I don't have either?). Now it's almost a month later, they still haven't "determined" that I need a replacement and I already purchased a new one and done with this brand.
