Although the carrier has a handle, it is impossible to carry it that way; rather, it needs to be held two-handed like a laundry basket. Also, the screws that have to be attached to keep the two parts together don't seem to be all that secure. I would worry about some loosening up and having the carrier separate with the pet inside. I am returning this product.

A Little Bulky

I got this for my kitten boys. They prefer to be in the same carrier. This carry has plenty of room and is airy. I have a larger female who could use the extra room

I had the easiest time getting my cats into these crates (I bought two) compared to any other crates I've used, ie: rectangular or soft-sided oval one. My cats curled

Great carrier!

The carrier made my senior kitty very settled and safe. I took a chance with this carrier bc it is completely different than the rectangular ones. She didn't fight

The carrier made my senior kitty very settled and safe. I took a chance with this carrier bc it is completely different than the rectangular ones. She didn't fight me when I put her down inside it. It measured about 15 inches high, and 19 inches across. Fit a round bed perfectly that she curled up in. Definitely worth the money. The door opened easier and can actually come off (has hinges on each side). Definitely recommend. Easy to carry and fit perfectly in the front seat. Not the best photo (had a little car travel tray attached to the seat directly above the carrier, but plenty of air flow.)

My cats do not like being loaded into those long tunnel-like carriers. I would get scratched up every time I tried to get them in one. This carrier is so easy to just lower them down into without getting scratched. A bit awkward to carry but overall a lot less stressful for them and me.
