Pros and cons

Pros: This is a large carrier for my large cat or even both of my large cats. They also sometimes sit in it on their own, but I've done a lot of training sessions

Pros: This is a large carrier for my large cat or even both of my large cats. They also sometimes sit in it on their own, but I've done a lot of training sessions with them so they'll think it homey. Cons: I do wish one of the sides were straight up and down and the other at an angle instead of it being an A frame shape because it's really heavy to hold out from the body. It would also be nice if the carrier had a little compartment on it for carrying stuff that needs to go in or out of the vets office along with the cat like samples or meds. Lastly it would be great if it had a seatbelt hook on it so I can strap it in in the car for safety.

I got this carrier originally to hold my two bunnies. I purchased the X-large size which is perfect for holding them both at the same time. I absolutely love the size and the door that opens on the side, making it easier to let both bunnies hop in and out. Instead of the bed that it comes with though, I use cage liners to cover the bottom for easy cleanup. So, this is everything I expected it to be! The shock with this when my cat also loved the carrier too! He has always done what the bunnies have done and took to going in and out of the carrier quickly. Once the bunnies were done with it, I put the provided cushion in the carrier and left it out for my cat to enjoy. It's now his favorite place to nap! Despite the multiple beds, perches, and houses for all my cats to enjoy, this guy exclusively loves hanging out in here. I'm happy I got the x-large size because not only does it fit the bunnies but it's great for this larger-than-average cat to stretch out. The shape of the carrier also doesn't make it look weird to have this just out in my house for him to use. When I do end up putting it away (only when this guy finally gets bored, haha), the way it folds down for easy storage is fantastic. And despite this being the biggest size, it's really pretty easy to carry! I can't recommend this product enough!

This thing is exactly as advertised, but pay attention to the dimensions because the Large isn’t as large as I expected. It seemed kind of flimsy at first but once the kitty was inside, it felt much sturdier. He actually doesn’t mind the thing at all, and even if he resists, loading him in to the front is a breeze. Definitely recommend (for cats under like 15lbs maybe).

I didn't want this carrier to be frightening or foreign, so left it open in the living room, and so far 3 of my 4 kitties have tried it out. Just what I wanted!

I was very careful because the design was easy to put together wrong. I got 3 of them and chewy said to donate them and they'll refund me. I couldn't even donate them on. Good conscience. Chewy as always was awesome and took care of it.

How easy it was to put together

I just got this cat from a rescue to foster. Unfortunately as is usually the case, it was a foster fail, and I am keeping him. He’s a very big boy and I’m happy

I just got this cat from a rescue to foster. Unfortunately as is usually the case, it was a foster fail, and I am keeping him. He’s a very big boy and I’m happy that it opens on the side. It was very easy to scoop him up and put them . The unit itself is heavy, which added to the cat made it difficult to maneuver as I’m 70 years old. I think I’m gonna go ahead and order the next smaller size. Maybe that’ll be easier.

I bought this because my cat tries to tear up any carrier. Even hard sided with metal bars. he bites the bars and I’m worried he’ll wreck his teeth. Not only did this one prove to be unbiteable, there’s nothing to tear apart either, I removed the bed, Bonus we had a very long car ride and had an accident! It caught all of it and we were able to clean while driving without getting anything on the seats! Only downside is that I don’t feel secure carrying it with my 9lb cat. I feel like it will bust open.

A safe place

Simon doesn’t like to travel in carriers and will not get into one voluntarily. I placed this carrier on the floor with the door opened and bed inside for Simon to check it out voluntarily. He now sleeps in it all the time and is a safe place. He does not like it for travel. I initially purchased the XL size guessing it would be the right size but it was too big. I tried to return it but customer care said Chewy will not accept a return and suggested I donate it instead. And I got a full refund. Exceptional customer service!!

I like the fact that it folds almost flat for storage, but i can't put it away because it has become a very popular area for sleeping, lounging and posing. It feels a little flimsy, but held up fine to go to the vet and it was very easy to put the cat into.

My cat is very ornery when going to the vet. They say he is a demon cat ( lovingly) it’s a 45 minute ride there and back. He cries all the way there and back My neighbors let me borrow this carrier from them and he was quiet the whole ride there and back. It didn’t help him behave at the vets but I’m okay with that. We also got the stuffing they recommended. At home he lays in there 50 % of the time (with the door off). I ordered the carrier the same day I borrowed the neighbors. It has been the best purchase for my older,diabetic, cat.
