Better than expected

I was hesitant to buy the small carrier because the picture and description show that the carrier has clips. Thankfully it now comes with bolts and nuts all around like what is pictured on the Petmate website. The correct interior measurements are 21.5 x 15 x 13.5, so ignore the response in the Q&A section. There isn’t a compartment on the top either like what is mentioned in the description. Chewy needs to update the model on their website.

came quickly,, suggest you offer a model fitted out for airline transport of birds.. Delta has restrictions that require me to completely dismantle the carrier, install 1/2" wire on the inside openings, bolt (with nuts) all the clamshell closures, install a perch and a food bowl,,,

Not thrilled

Ordered on 6/17 and not even 2 months later latch no longer works. Wasn’t thrilled about its durability, plastic is kind of on the thin side so I wouldn’t recommend for flights. I’ve only used it in the car for transport (1x a day/5 day week) and it’s been stationary with strap downs. For the last week I’ve been only able to use top side of latch but now it’s not effective and my dog got out while I was driving. Not a happy camper with this crate.

Too large and more

First, Chewy shows amazing integrity with prompt customer service responses and resolutions no matter what the problem. The intermediate was too large for our needs and Chewy was immediately responsive with a refund and suggestion that we donate to a local dog rescue, no questions asked. Not Chewy's fault, but FYI, the box arrived trashed. Yes, the door rattles and assembly isn't snug. I'd be worried about it holding during airline travel.

Good product for a good price

A basic crate that is easy to put together and use. It’s not the fanciest option out there but if you need a small container for your pet that is sturdy, this is the one. Chewy has this for a great price.

Pet carriers are sturdy

We bought 2 of these for our adult cats. They are plenty big enough. We needed to crate our cats overnight a couple nights for their safety. They were comfortable and safe. They are sturdy and easy to handle.

An excellent purchase

This is the second kennel we have purchased for our Parson Russell terrier,,,,we have one for the car and one for the house in case we leave him home alone,,,,we chose the same model over again after using the first one for a few weeks,,,it is easy to put together in a few minutes and well built,,,for the price,

Not what is pictured

The online image was not what I got. When I was referred to the supplier, they told me they no longer made that Vari kennel. Also my kennel didn't come with enough bolts to secure the kennel. Very disappointed.

Broken door

My puppy broke the door latch 3 weeks after I bought the crate. I would like a refund or replacment.

My 18 month old puppy travels more comfortably in this crate. No more motion sickness.
