Petpals 14-in 2 in 1 Cat House with Scratching Pad, Brown

First, I like that the frame of this scratcher is solid and very sturdy, instead of just heavy duty cardboard. Second, the thickness of the fabric and construction of the hammock is fantastic - extremely durable. What was a bit more challenging - having to attach the hammock to the frame was more difficult than I expected. Because the fabric is so thick there wasn’t too much room to try to grip onto the dowel to keep it from spinning while trying to secure it/screw into the frame. I ended up brushing my hands trying to get the hammock attached. The other thing I noticed is that the dowels on the inside of the scratcher are prevents my kitty from comfortably laying inside - the dowels are a bit too uncomfortable for her, so she mainly uses the hammock attached. I may just put a cushion inside so she can use it a bit more. Overall, it’s a good piece. Compact enough that it doesn’t take up much space, very sturdy, and it blends in with our living room fairly well. If you have a cat that needs a little hiding space, and you want something relatively inexpensive but looks nice, I’d recommend this item.
