how do I know if my battery is good or getting ready to die? I think I got an instruction packet when I bought the collar,but a par-for-course I have lost it. Thank, Dianna from NC

This 3-volt battery can last up to one month. Depending on the device in use it might indicate when the battery needs to be replaced.
I have an invisible fence brand electric fence already. Do I have to use the same brand collar or can I use another brand?

I purchased the PetSafe battery for the bark collar for my dog. It works great in replacing the dead battery in it!! FANTASTIC!!

Safe Doggies

We order items from Chewy for our two beagles (Mother and Daughter) quite often. We ordered new batteries as soon as we discovered that we didn't have any left. The Daughter Phillie is such a good girl that she never tried to leave the yard for a whole week, even though her collar was not working. If it had been her Mom Shawnee she would have been gone in a flash. Thanks for the quick shipping. We know everything is behind right now and didn't expect to receive the batteries this quickly.

So hard to find in stores

After going to several pet stores looking for this battery, I decided to check with Chewy since they always seem to have what I want. Sure enough and the price was half the price of what I have been paying, so I bought two, to always have one ready. I use Chewy for all my pets needs. Thank you Chewy.

Just what I needed

I have the bark collar and use it every time my dog goes outside. She thinks everything she sees is hers and will bark continuously. This is the only thing that has worked. The battery is inexpensive and very easy to replace, plus it lasts a long time.

long lasting and durable

I have had this fence system for nearly 12 years - even moved once and brought it with me. Has worked perfectly - these batteries have proved to be longer lasting than even advertised.

Happy Chewy carries this battery

My last battery of this type lasted 5 years. Was getting weak so on a quest looked at Chewy to see if they had them. Imagine my utter delight to see they DID ! I ordered two for my 7 year old small breed bark collars.

HUGE BUMMER! Battery Life Way Too Brief

While the anti bark collar for little dogs is great, this battery, for it, has an alarmingly short life! After using the battery that came with the collar for 3 days ( a total of less than 16 hours “on”), the second battery only lasted 8 hours max. (And YES, I do know how to turn off the collar correctly, and NO, the collar was not continuously “on” by accident, for days). This battery is just too expensive to have such a short life! It’s bizarre. Not sure what to do, as the little dog anti- bark collar requires these batteries in order to run...and I have several little foster dogs to work with... now I cannot afford to use the pricey anti bark collar. HUGE BUMMER. Wish I would have bought a collar that plugs in, or uses recyclable batteries....if anyone makes that. VERY FRUSTRATED & UNHAPPY.

Didn't last long

Battery used off and on for total of maybe 4 hours. Mostly turned off. And then it just quit. Not pleased with this product.

Peace & quiet!

I was happy (thrilled) with how quickly my order arrived. The battery in my little yapper’s bark collar died, so I ordered a new one plus a spare. Got them in a matter of days.
