My Great Pyrenees LOVES this! I love it because it take about 20/30 min for him to get the treats from each side (this is far longer than any other treat puzzle I give him) plus he chews and plays with it. I got the medium for my Aussie but he doesn’t care for it as much :/ I would definitely recommend for those aggressive chewers and those that need a little stimulation and chew at the same time !! Best money I’ve spent in a while
We bought these from Chewy about 10 years ago for our beloved companions who came before the ones we have now, and they are still being enjoyed by our babies we have now! I think it’s one of their absolute favorite things. We’ve bought other styles of Busy Buddy, but this continues to be a favorite. They love the peanut butter rings, and our Louis will jump around with excitement, wagging his tail when he gets fresh rings on his busy buddy! If they ever wear out, we’ll buy more!
Center is a little too large for the dog to carry in his mouth - this little dog doesn't chew on the disc -- package comes with several. I ordered this to replace the other one my son had sent me for the dog - which he soon buried outside.
This is probably the 5th Buddy Bone I’ve bought over the last 10 years. Our 3 year old Weim is a power chewer and absolutely loves gnawing on it. I upgraded to the large one (from medium) and it’s a better fit since she’s now 70 lbs. It’s the perfect trick for keeping her occupied when aim on my conference calls. And as always Chewy’s service was amazing. You guys are the best!
I didn’t like the rawhide discs because they chew through and come off almost intact and seemed like a choking hazard for a small dog like my pug
This made my dogs mouth bleed like crazy. Once they really start chewing on it, it becomes very sharp and borderline dangerous.
I purchased the medium for my pup who is 7 mo and 40 lbs. it broke apart and he swallowed a chunk of it. $4,000 for emergency surgery as it was lodged in his intestine. Very dangerous would never give this to another animal again.
I was just putting on the very first raw hide rings on it and as I was twisting it back together it snapped and now the thing is completely useless. Idk how this would’ve not broke if my dog chewed on it… I bought refills and I can’t even use them now… I’m not buying this twice.
These are used as part of an enrichment program in a municipal animal shelter. It is safe to leave in the kennels and keeps dogs occupied and engaging in healthy activities. The nylon pieces get rough from chewing but the dogs love to chew.
He carries this around, knows exactly where he left it and goes to find it when asked with or without a treat.
