Easy fix - make side straps adjustable

My dog is a small, female German Shepherd mix who loves to run and has a muscular girth of 29 inches. First, I ordered the small. Oops, waaaay off. Totally my fault. I called customer service to exchange it for a medium and found out Chewy wouldn’t exchange it for a larger size. They said, “Keep it and donate it or give it to someone.” The customer service rep was very helpful and credited my account for the purchase (thus, three stars). The rep also offered to place the re-order for a medium and it was delivered the in a couple days. Great! In plenty of time for our weekend get-away (via car) with our dog. Imagine my frustration at the medium not fitting, either. Let’s recap. Dog with a 29” girth in a harness that supposedly fits up to 32” girth, but does not. It’s the day of our much anticipated trip and I’m pretty annoyed. Next week, I’ll go through the hassle of getting a large Easy Sport harness. In case you’re wondering, I’m NOT in the habit of collecting dog harnesses.

Measurements wrong

My dog’s chest measured 32 inches. He weighs 54 pounds. He is in between the medium and large. Because he has undercoat and a couple of extra pounds this winter,

My dog’s chest measured 32 inches. He weighs 54 pounds. He is in between the medium and large. Because he has undercoat and a couple of extra pounds this winter, I purchased the medium size. When all said and done, the harness measures 30 inches after it is let out to it as far as it goes. 30 inches is not 32. There is a gap in your pounds nothing between 50 and 60 which leaves the customer to guess what works but if it is supposed to measure 32 and doesn’t that requires me and anyone else with an icie dog to order two harnesses!

Sturdy harness, buckles are OK, but plastic, and are always prone to snaping off a locking prong. The only thing I don't like is the neck has what the company calls

Sturdy harness, buckles are OK, but plastic, and are always prone to snaping off a locking prong. The only thing I don't like is the neck has what the company calls elastic flex. But there is very little flex at the elastic band on both sides. It would be better if there were movable Velcro bands that could give more options for canines with thicker necks. just barely fits my dog a Shep/Lab mix, 50 lbs. neck, to get my two fingers between the collar and neck.

I’m so impressed with the quality of this harness! It’s well-made and durable, and I especially love the handle on the back—it’s perfect for quickly grabbing my dog when needed. The harness has plenty of room for adjustments, which is great as my 60 lb Chocolate Lab still has room to grow. She gets so excited every time I put it on her because she knows she’s in for an adventure! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a sturdy and reliable harness.

There's not one thing I didn't like about this harness. We've gone thru our fair share of harnesses, collars, and leashes for our 55 lb Belgian Malinois who has no chill and LOVES to lead. I loved that this was easy to get on her. She didn't fight us to get it on AND i was even able to get it on her by myself. (I'm a petite short gal who's sometimes overpowered by her dog.) It feels thick and durable so far. The stitching seems great and high-quality The built-in handle is a great feature too for the times i need to hold her next to me on walks, (like when i feel like she might start barking and/or scare someone. ) and I feel confident holding her back by way of holding the handle. All-in-all i recommend this for bigger/strong dogs.
