My friend has one guarding her houseplants from her dog and cat. It definitely stopped them from chewing and digging. I’m going to place it around my Xmas tree to stop my cats from chewing on the pre lit branches. Yikes!
We are a long time consumer of the rectangular, longer ScatMats. They work great, but this curved one has not met our needs. It does not seem to be as sensitive to contact. Our pets have learned that they can move quickly across it and continue playing with the Christmas tree it was meant to protect. I can't recommend this version to other customers. But, I do love the other variations. They work best on hard floors.
The training pads are great and they definitely work. No doubt. I bought two and kept my cats off my leather couch. I bought a 3rd for my countertop. However that one stopped working. I only use energizer and I even changed the battery but will not zap and beep comes on randomly. If this 3rd one didn’t malfunction I would have given 10 stars. I haven’t even had it for a month yet and it stopped working. The other two so far are fine.
This is amazing, cats stayed away from plants as intended. However they did get smarter with avoiding the Matt, but did quit messing with plants so win
Desperate to find something to deter my chewing cat away from my Christmas tree, I decided to try this. I bought one, then found I needed 2 to go around the tree (wall to wall). They worked perfectly! It counts how many times it is stepped on and sparks their little paws. Some will say that is mean, but it is like sparking your finger on a light switch. Needless to say, my $400 tree came out of the season without a broken branch, no chewed wires and all ornaments in tact. Only problem was that I have 2 cats, one that climbs and chews and one that likes to sit under it. I felt a little bad for the one that does nothing to it, but in the end it needed to be there. My cats thought it was an evil tree and left it alone for the entire time it was up. Highly recommend if you have a cat that destroys your things!
Works well on my table, have a very determined maine coon and it took a few days but she has learned to stay off the table, like that it is adjustable so I could start on the lowest setting
I love this product, it keeps my dogs away from Christmas Tree, and it’s Decorations!
