Two Guardian GPS 2.0 kits are required for two dogs. The collars are not sold separately and are only available as part of the full kit.

Can this be used on multiple dogs? Or is a one dog system?

This is designed to support one dog. If you have multiple dogs, you'll need a collar and a subscription plan for each. However, the 'My PetSafe' app allows you to manage an unlimited number of dogs on your account, providing a centralized and convenient way to keep track of all your pets' safety and freedom.

My neighbors have a wireless fence, will the signals interfere with one another?

PetSafe GPS fences will not interfere with a neighboring wireless fence. To keep your dog from interacting with a neighbor's dog, we recommend trying to keep their fence boundary at least 25 feet from their neighbor's boundary. This will help keep the fence boundaries from overlapping. We also recommend doing some testing afterwards to ensure a suitable distance.

Ready to setup out if the box. Mine was not charged when it arrived so i had to charge it before programming it. I used the QR code for ready application. It was quick and easy to create an account, there is a small monthly fee. The collar is a rubber type material, so it moves well on the neck. It was easy to adjust the collar, but it will slip a bit and loosen up if you're dog shakes his head often, holes and a catch might have been good here. The GPS works great, I live on 2 acres and my dog has a habit of wandering off property every now and then. The satellite location works great, but the vibration was not enough to deter him leaving the set fence line. I changed it to static last night, but of course today he didn't leave the yard. Overall i find this to be a great product and well worth it for the safety of your pet.

I don't think my beagle likes her new boundaries. It does give us peace of mind knowing where she is at all times and keeping her inside the boundaries we want her

I’m using this on my husky border collie. It’s pretty simple to setup within the pet safe app. Gives you simple prompts on what to do or how to set it up. Also very easy to set and test the fence. It will take some time to train her on each different fence I set, but works similar to the in ground or wireless fence. Has a loud beep and vibration to signal them they’re close to out of bounds. I do wish you could set a smaller boundary i.e. when we go camping (although if there are a lot of trees the tracking would work poorly) or to someone’s house with a smaller yard. This only lets you set it 1/2 acre or larger. The collar is adjustable to fit different size dogs and time will tell how long or if the rubber of the band will hold up but it does seem durable. You do need to pay a subscription to have all the features and tracking. You’ll also need WiFi at each location to set up more fences or use the tracking. So, without a subscription, you’re limited to one Bluetooth-based fence that only works when your phone and collar are nearby. I’ve had trouble where it shows her collar lost connectivity when I walked away from her so far with my phone or when she walked so far from the base possibly.

Peace of Mind in a Collar!

This has been a life saver for me getting things done outside with our new, three-year-old pup! We got Tucker, a 65# (wild & hyper) German Shepherd, Pit, Lab mix

This has been a life saver for me getting things done outside with our new, three-year-old pup! We got Tucker, a 65# (wild & hyper) German Shepherd, Pit, Lab mix in June from a shelter and brought him to our three-acre property home in the country. The first couple times we let him off the leash he would run all over. For the first couple months I walked him on a leash outside or would tie him up while in the garden near me. I couldn't get anything done as he was attached to me. I got a collar that I could beep, vibrate and shock with a remote, but I was still constantly watching him to make sure he wouldn't run past where I wanted him to go. Once I got the PetSafe Guardian GPS 2.0 collar, we still were on a leash until he knew his boundaries, BUT his boundary was the same every single time so he could learn quickly where not to go. The collar was very easy to set up, connect and draw a perimeter map for Tucker to stay inside of. He refuses to go outside of his boundary, even if his frisbee gets thrown out because he knows the consequences. We have all sorts of critters in the fields around us and Tucker knows to just watch them from his yard and can keep them out but not chase them down the field! I can now safely go on with my outdoor chores and even go inside while Tucker is outside playing. I love that I can see where he is from anywhere with the app, (even if my husband is home with him and I'm not). I have so much comfort in knowing he has set boundaries. The collar will beep when he gets close to his boundary, and then either static shock or vibrate-dealers choice. I have it on static as it gets his attention for my wild man quicker than vibrate. There are levels of static you can choose from, 1 all the way up to 10. Mine is at 4 and that gets his attention just fine. I also like when we go to someone’s house, I can set up another fence for their house. We walk the perimeter once and he’s good to play on his own! There is a subscription you’ll need, but I bought the annual one and it’s cheaper than purchasing monthly. I did annually because of the temptation of deer chasing Tucker has, so again, so worth it to me! The only concern I have is when I look at my app at the battery life left, it always says 100%. This may be resolved with an update in the future-but I'm not sure. I leave Tuckers collar on him for most of the weekend as we go in and out all day. During the weekdays, I turn it on and put it on him in the mornings when we get up, and it’s off during the day while I’m at work. We can go about five days without charging with this schedule. It does alert me when he only has a couple hours of batter life left which is huge! Overall, I highly recommend if you a couple acres of property or bigger.

It seems like you have to pay for a subscription which I'm not crazy about. I've skipped that part for now and it seems to be working. I'm using it for my senior dog sometimes for when we go out on our 3 acres and he sometimes wonders off. It's pretty cool to have it locate him in the general area. We are fully fenced so I don't use the "fence" much with the collar. I think this could be really beneficial for hiking or something or if God forbid your dog got loose and you can't find them

Know where your dog is

We have a 2 yr old standard black poodle with a strong hunting drive , when she gets on a scent of a deer or even a squirrel she chase full force , she does time to time come back when called but not always , so to be honest I got a shock collar to train her but it has no GPS which in high grass or dense woods while we are hiking which we allow her to run a bit but we call her & when we don't see her we tone her ( we never used the shock) but some times she is right behind us or even stuck some where , so I wanted a training collar with GPS as to why I choose this one & petsafe is a good company .I charged it over night & my hubby tried it the next evening , it shows you where your dog is per APP and hubby used the tone once because he seen her at an area we know has fox dens so this is awesome , it lets us know where she is at all times .

Hard to setup for the first time.

When I received the device it took over an hour for all of the updates. The setup was a bit complicated. Creating a new fence was easy and had good how to instructions

The collar beep is not load enough for me to hear when it’s on the dog. Hard to know if it’s working because I cannot hear it. Not happy that you have to purchase a subscription.
