I want to use this in the backseat of a truck with no headrests. Is a headrest necessary in order to secure the bed to the seat?

Seat belt slits allow normal use of your car's seat belts with the dog bed in place. This lets you use the optional PetSafe Happy Ride Seat Belt Tether (sold separately) for maximum safety.

Would this fit the back seat of a Tesla 3 (2018) reasonably well?

These Small seat cuddler is compatible with a bucket seat (it measures 23 inches wide) and the Large is made for a bench seat (it measures 55 inches wide).

Soft, good size, but slips around a lot

My dog doesn’t like it as much as a blanket because it slips around quite a bit on leather or pleather seats. There isn’t a great way to fully secure it.

Love that it is washable and the bolster material can be removed to wash it. It's comfortable, but I wish there was a strap attached to the seat base to attach to

Love that it is washable and the bolster material can be removed to wash it. It's comfortable, but I wish there was a strap attached to the seat base to attach to his collar. Had to purchase a head-rest leash and clip to be sure he stays in the seat. The strap that is supposed to go around the seat at the bottom to attach the people-seat belt doesn't have a slot through the seat to secure it. But the white tube at the bottom does secure the dog seat into the crotch of the vehicle seat.

Comfy seat, convenient to move if needed. I have one for both dogs, each have a window seat in the back. They are using a seatbelt harness clip from a different brand. One dog gets carsick and it's easy to take the inside out and wash the entire thing in the washing machine. The inside cushion did rip due to the zipper getting caught, but I called Petsafe and they replaced under their new warranty policy.

It looks nice in my car. It does not raise up enough for dog viewing out the window so I just put a pillow pinned under it for a better lift and it works fine. I

It looks nice in my car. It does not raise up enough for dog viewing out the window so I just put a pillow pinned under it for a better lift and it works fine. I like the secure fit when the car seatbelt locks it in snuggly. I didn’t need a safety harness hook up because my Maltese likes to hop into the very back or come up front with me during trips, but this is perfect for his nap time and he feels cozy and warm.
