Can you show a picture of this when folded?

Please see the attached image below.

What is the height between the hitch point and the top of the step when folded up? There are no actual dimensions in any of the paperwork.

The Hitch step dimensions are as follows: Fully extended is 20 inches long, 18 inches wide and 12 inches high. The individual steps are 10 inches long, 18 inches wide and 12 inches high. The vertical space between each step is 8 inches.

The steps interfere with my backup camera. is there any issue to drive around with the step folded down?

Once the mounting bracket sub-assembly is connected to the vehicle, the steps can be stowed in the horizontal or vertical position, or removed and stowed inside the vehicle. If you plan to leave the steps in the mounting bracket while driving, we recommend stowing them in the vertical position to avoid road grime and debris.

Perfect for my dog

I have a older Great Pyrenees whom is starting to slow down. I just got a new SUV and decided that he needs to be in the cargo area instead of the back set, due to the fact that he is getting slower and slower to get in the back seat. I looked at ramps, but considering his size and age and the length of the ramps, I decided to look at steps. This is perfect, as the steps are plenty big, spaced just right and best of all fold up when transporting my dog. When the dog is not going along, they easily remove. Hardest part was figuring out how to turn off the sensors that wanted to brake every time I went in reverse. Great purchase, and my dog loves the ease of getting in the SUV.

Design Issue

My Great Danes still want to jump into my SUV Hummer EV, but it will take time to train them. One of them is up in age and this is why I purchased these steps. The design flaw that I see that can resolve some issues are. 1. The Hummer has a spare tire mounted on the back (As well as other Model Vehicles), I have lowered the rail as low as it can go and this allows the gate to open and close freely. However, if the two steps had an additional hole for the pins to place it at a 45 degree angle for storage, it will miss the tire completely (this is a 36 inch MT Tire) and still have a good storage point / appearance. 2. You need to have a better quality control, one of the steps had to be de-burred for the red pin to seat properly, Most people are not handy this would have become a problem. If you see the pictures, I ended up removing the top step and the lower one locks in place vertically in the storage position. Plus I added a rubber bumper to the lower step so that in the up position it will no touch the spare tire from vibration. This will prevent the slip proof steps from sanding off the sidewall of the tire.

Easy to install and use

Steps work beautifully

Great design. Steps work great for our dogs. Only thing I wish they weren't black because they get super hot on their feet but that we can work around.

Too small

Not really designed for big dogs. The steps' spacing made it awkward for my greyhound like boy to be able to use it to the point where his hind legs missed the upper

Not really designed for big dogs. The steps' spacing made it awkward for my greyhound like boy to be able to use it to the point where his hind legs missed the upper step and he refused to try again. Small dogs would probably find the size and spacing of steps to be ok.

Good product, but wish they had spare parts

This is my second Happy Ride Dog Car Hitch Step and I had to buy a new one because I broke one of the pins and you can't get spare parts. So while I really like

This is my second Happy Ride Dog Car Hitch Step and I had to buy a new one because I broke one of the pins and you can't get spare parts. So while I really like the product - it is well made, easy to install, easy to use, and my dog likes it - I'm disappointed that PetSafe doesn't have spare parts for it so if you break a part, you have to replace the whole thing.
