For best results, this cat toy should be used on hard, flat surfaces and may not work correctly on uneven surfaces, such as tile or carpet.
Does it ever pause so they feel like they 'caught' it? Or is it constantly moving?

This mobile laser toy moves around the floor while its laser “tail” follows behind and creates patterns that are visually interesting to your pet. It's motion will continue for 10 minutes until the toy automatically shuts off.

Quit after 3 months

I started to leave a fantastic review, but it just stopped working. We initially thought the batteries had died, but brand new ones were in, and nothing. My cat loves this toy. It is one of his favorite things to play with; he will even meow until you turn it on, and now that it has stopped, he is not happy with us. Now I am going to have to get him a new one

Bad for cat

This toy seemed promising but it gets stuck for no reason in the easiest spots; then the cats have a non moving laser and they can blind themselves

The laser light is very good when you hold the machine and play with the cat. Cat was not amused when it was placed on the floor as intended.

Lost Laser

As the laser moved around, the actual light would wind up under furniture where our cats could not see it. Once they could not see the red light, they would lose interest.

Not for my cat

My cat does not like this at all she takes one look at it running around watches it for a minute and then goes the other way. I don’t think she likes the noise it makes. I’ve tried it several times, same reaction. Waste of money for me

Not what I expected but I gave it a shot anyway and it failed epically.

OK, so I definitely didn't read the description carefully and didn't realize that the whole thing moves around on your floor, but I thought, OK, I'll give it a try anyway. Total waste of money. The cats are afraid of it and it makes a lot of noise and gets stuck in weird places and doesn't really move the laser in a way that makes the cats wants to chase it. Epic fail.

Don't buy it

My cat was 5 months old when I got him this toy. He is 2yrs. 2mos. and he has never shown any interest in this toy. Which is strange because he loves to interact with the handheld laser I bought for him.

Keeps him occupied!

I was expecting this toy to provide more active play for my 8 year old cat, but he absolutely loves it! He loves to watch it and only occasionally reaches out to catch the light beam. When it stops after 10 minutes he lets out a loud yowl to get it going again. So in terms of keeping him entertained, it’s 5 stars!
