such a great idea - but it’s SO loud and there’s no way to regulate the flow to quiet it. both my cats are far too afraid to even approach it, even when the pump isn’t on since it was so loud to begin with. there’s a shallow reservoir that will hold very little water if the power goes out, but the cats can’t really see/understand bc it’s so clear and there’s so much condensate underneath. it also still has a lot of parts, you can’t wash them in the dishwasher of course, and it’s all still plastic - with angles that can hide algae/mold over time if your vision isn’t great and you don’t go at it with pipe cleaners-style brushes. disappointing.

I love this pumpless fountain. I bought the 128oz since I have 4 cats. All have taken to it just fine. The water is a bit noisier than others but not horribly so. The light turns red when water level get low. It holds a gallon of water so I don’t have to fill it as often. Great product.

Lee, my Maine Coon cat loves playing in his water bowl and he disliked the other fountain I had when he came to live with us. I am a bit disappointed in how quickly the bowl plastic became cloudy. I have only cleaned it with dishwashing soap so I have no idea what caused it to cloud up. It works fine still just not visually appealing to me but the cats could care less. It is reasonably easy to clean and to maintain. The filter only lasts around a couple of weeks so that is an additional issue money wise. I don’t know if I would buy it again but I don’t plan on replacing it for quite a while.
