    Collar defective

    By Mav1 on Feb 11, 2021

Only about 4 weeks of using this and the collar no longer works. The part that screws on to hold batteries in place doesn’t fit snug and so it keeps the batteries from touching and making the collar work. I am currently in process of trying to start warranty process as it can no longer be returned.

    works to an extent

    By mya4 on Mar 30, 2020

Got for my female puppy who keeps bolting out of the door multiple times a day and puts herself in danger. (Cars, other dogs, mean people, etc) with this product, it does indeed properly shock them, but only if the transmitter is facing directly in front of the collar. This of course is an issue because she can move the collar around by scratching or playing, so if her collar faces the opposite of the transmitter on the wall she can continue to move past it and out the door pretty easily. However when it is properly aligned it did give her a decent enough shock to make her wary of that area and less likely to go there. Buttttt, if im not paying attention it is still possible the shock might not Got for my female puppy who keeps bolting out of the door multiple times a day and puts herself in danger. Not a useless product but could use some design tweaking to make it more effective/ efficient … more

    Not as described

By Patty on Feb 1, 2020

This device will not work if placed anywhere near anything metal, like an appliance. There is nothing in the PetSafe description that says that. I happened to see a Q and A about it, that mentioned it. I called PetSafe (I had JUST ordered it.) They confirmed that it will not work if the transmitter is within 5 feet of anything metallic. I suggested they include that information in their description. I am returning it.

    Good product!

    By V3R1SS1M0 on Nov 18, 2019

These barriers help a lot at home! We have a young dog that wants to chew everything! This creates some "safe areas" that she cant get in!

Unfortunately didn't work for our cats.

By Amanda on Aug 20, 2019

My Bengals sat right next to the transmitter and stared at it while it went off, did not keep them away from the doors at all. The collars were very tight and the prongs were touching the skin.

Didn't even work when I put it on my wrist! Vibrated hit and miss. My cat could walk right next to it and nothing.

By HeatherS on Aug 23, 2019

Collar and device was way too big on my 10 lbs cat. She couldn’t move her head.
