My dog really enjoys his rides much more he's never had an issue in the car but this makes it much more safe to take him with me. He goes to work everyday with me and he needed a safe seat to ride in. This is very Sturdy, very easy to set up and my dog is comfortable he sleeps in this for most of the car ride. I bought a comfortable harness to hook him into it with too . He's very happy in it.

This arrives as a DIY kit, but is not difficult to put together. It was easy to place in my car. Whichever dog I have with me sometimes still tries to get in my lap, but the harness attachment keeps them in place. Great item for the price. My dogs, both Chihuahua mixes fit in it with plenty of room to spare.

I can't believe I went so long without this - I had no idea how much it would help. My pup was so much more relaxed just on his first ride with this booster seat

I can't believe I went so long without this - I had no idea how much it would help. My pup was so much more relaxed just on his first ride with this booster seat. It turns out he just wanted to be able to see what was happening!! Feels very safe with the various straps, too, and is easy to maneuver in and out of the seat.

Safety when the brakes are slammed on

Jackie used to sit, tethered, in a dog bed on the back seat. On the Mass Pike one day, the car in front of me slammed on his breaks and so did I, and Jackie's dog

Jackie used to sit, tethered, in a dog bed on the back seat. On the Mass Pike one day, the car in front of me slammed on his breaks and so did I, and Jackie's dog bed slid off the seat leaving her hanging by her tether. I love this new dog bed, and Jackie can see out the windows much better!

Sides and platform are not strudy enough

The height of the seat is great. The size was a bit tight for our Bishon/Tzu mix (he's very long). We would have worked around that limitation, perhaps. The issue

The height of the seat is great. The size was a bit tight for our Bishon/Tzu mix (he's very long). We would have worked around that limitation, perhaps. The issue is that my dog loves to sniff out the window and the side walls and seat platform are not particularly sturdy when he stood up on his two legs. It is a piece of foam with a thin plastic backing. Too flexible and as a result our dog was very unsure of the seat. If you have a small dog that doesn't move around much in the car, then this booster may work well.

The attachment cord from the seat to my puppy seems quite flimsy. I'm not sure that it would protect her in an accident. The seat is soft on the bottom, the sides

The attachment cord from the seat to my puppy seems quite flimsy. I'm not sure that it would protect her in an accident. The seat is soft on the bottom, the sides have a hard plastic lining that is not particularly comfortable for a puppy laying her head on to sleep while we travel.
