Where Fun Meets Functional

Made for Power Chewers

Whether it's an intense game of fetch or a quiet chewing session to wind down before bedtime, Petstages chew toys have it covered. The ORKA Tennis Ball has unique ridges that give your dog's teeth and gums a workout, and it's durable enough for stronger jaws. He'll be panting with anticipation for you to throw this bouncy ball as soon as you pull it out of the toy bin. For more traditional types, the Dogwood Stick combines real wood—complete with a natural woodsy smell—and non-toxic material that makes it safer to retrieve than the average stick.

  • My Guys Absolutely Love Them

    By on

I was a little skeptic when first purchasing them because I didn't know if my guys would like it. They love to chew on sticks they find in the yard and try to bring them inside, so I figured I would give it a try to maybe prevent them from trying to bring in huge sticks from the yard. I am so glad that I did. They ABSOLUTELY love them!!! The only thing I'm concerned about is maybe that the product won't hold up to constant chewing. I'm also a little weary of them getting a piece of the stick chewed off. Because on the package it is clearly labeled that is only for chewing not to be injested. Which is a little concerning. I don't want them getting a piece off and eating it if it isn't supposed I was a little skeptic when first purchasing them because I didn't know if my guys would like it. • Great for max chewer, but Safe?! Is anything ;) ??

We are always looking for ANY "safe" chew toy for our MASSIVE/DESTRUCTIVE chewer who ruins all chew toys, even some Kong toys, in 15 minutes. Bones or antlers? Some say they crack teeth. Braided rope toys? Some say the strings can bind their intestines. Bully sticks? Watch out for big pieces ripped off...and they STINK! Rawhide? Had 2 dogs that ate them for 10 yrs, but with all the warnings, they aren't an option any longer. So, that brings us to "plasticized" toys or hard rubber. We have an abundance of rubber Kong toys but that doesn't always resolve a puppy teething needs. This dogwood stick is fought over by our dogs! They last about 2-3 weeks with a HEAVY chewer. • He loves it.

I foster puppies for a rescue group (PawSwap of Greater Lafayette). I ended up with a wounded dog, 3 years old. He is part Great Dane so when he chews something up, he does a great job. He loves it and I spend a lot less time picking up pieces of toys and pillows. He had been shot with an arrow and broke several bones. I fell in love. After over 200 dogs, he was my first fail, I adopted him last week.

  • Great for chewing!

I have a dachshund that loves to chew, especially with those powerful back teeth. He usually shreds through most toys/chews (or loses interest) in a matter of minutes. We've tried multiple textures of other hard chew toys such as Nylabone, but he hasn't shown any interest in them after he passed 4 months. But he loves this stick!! It keeps his attention and it's durable enough to withstand his teeth. We're buying another for sure!

  • My dogs love them!!!

These bones are a hit with my 6 month old pit bull mix and 4 year old chihuahua. I get the Large for my pup who’s 45lbs and even though my Chihuahua is only 10lbs I got her the medium, since they’re always stealing each other’s toys. She even chews on the large one sometimes. This has to be one of their favorite chew bones and they both do a number on them. Depending on how strong of a chewer your dog is these won’t last forever but they do last for about a month or more depending on how often they chew on them.

  • Better than a real tree

During the two days a week Harley Dad and I both work outside the home and will be away for several hours, we give our 13 mos old Lab/Golden a more substantial treat to keep him busy in his crate. He is a highly aggressive chewer. Stuffed toys are like dust in the wind, vaporized in a matter of minutes. Harley has earned the nickname "El Destructo." He enjoys things that he can consume or destroy as well as rubber/kong type toys. He's actually managed to shred "fire hose" toys.... He liked this, but might've played with it more if it smelled like a stick.... or like bacon. It's kind of plasticky but he always chewed it for a little while if I gave it to him. • Holding up well

    By on

My grandmother has a new rescue dog - 2 year old Tuke, a black lab and hound mix. He loves to chew on wood and since they have a wood stove, that can be problematic. After giving him the Petstages Dogwood Stick Dog Chew Toy, he seems to have left the wood alone. He really enjoys chewing on this and for as much as he chews, it's still in really good shape. I'm impressed with how well it's holding up. Would definitely buy again and recommend!

  • Seemed Good

So got this for my 10 week old German shepherd. He was around 20lbs at the time. He kinda looked at it fiddled with it a bit but definitely not very interested in the toy. He never goes to it when I put it near him. Was really hoping it would be a toy he liked because it seems like a long lasting chew toy, but alas it is not very used :/ Just preference of the dog I guess

  • Suddenly Wonderful

    By on

I got my puppy one of these "sticks" because she eats mulch. When I first got this I she showed zero interest. It's been months (and one surgery to remove a chunk of mulch from her intestines) later, and suddenly she plays with this chew like crazy. It's her favorite chew. It took her five months to love it. My suggestion for others is not to throw the chew away if the dog isn't interested.

  • Pitmix loves it

    By on

My pitmix loves this chew toy. It is not her favorite toy in the world, but it is in her chewing rotation. This is good because she hasn't been able to destroy it yet. She chews on it for a period of time and it keeps her occupied without me having to worry about it falling apart. I got the largest one for her since she has a tendency to destroy all toys.
