Phycox Joint Supplements

Phycox Joint Supplements combine phycocyanin, a natural antioxidant, in addition to a broad range of antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids, and a blend of beneficial ingredients to support bone, muscle, and joint health.

Developed Specifically for Dogs

As dogs live longer, they show many of the same signs of aging that we do, including joint discomfort. That's why the family of high-quality Phycox Joint Supplements was specifically developed for dogs, with phycocyanin derived from blue-green algae

Joint Supplements with Phycocyanin

Phycox Joint Supplements provide a comprehensive blend of beneficial ingredients for joint health—phycocyanin, glucosamine, MSM, additional antioxidants, creatine and more. Antioxidant phycocyanin has powerful free radical scavenging properties.

A Joint Supplement for Every Canine

Phycox Joint Supplements are comprehensive formulas that help maintain healthy cartilage and joint mobility in dogs young and old—there are even hypoallergenic options. As joint discomfort decreases, many dogs become noticeably more playful.

Questions & Answers

7 Customer Questions

Is this really hypo allergenic? It has corn starch and soy protein in it.

Answer by ChewyApr 24, 2018
The product does contain cornstarch, which contains no protein and is not normally associated with allergies in dogs. The soy protein source in the HypoAllergenic chews is hydrolyzed with a Dalton size of 850 Daltons which makes it unable to be recognized as a food allergen source (a molecular weight below 18,000 Daltons is considered to be hypoallergenic). We always recommend that the pet parent consults with their veterinarian before adding Phycox HypoAllergenic Chews into their pets daily treatment regimen.

If my dog is switching from another brand should he start at the maintenance level?

Answer by ChewyMar 11, 2018
If you're switching your pet from another brand to a new brand of Supplements it's best to start with the Initial Administration (4 - 6 week period).

Does this have safe levels, what are they, of sodium and phosphorus for a dog with chronic kidney disease?

Answer by ChewySep 07, 2019
Due to your pet's diagnosed condition, we recommend consulting your Veterinarian to see what would be a good fit for your little one's current treatment plan.

Are these the same flavor as the original chews? I have a picky eater who doesn’t like change once he gets used to something. He spit the others out at first but loves them now.

Answer by ChewyMar 20, 2019
Since the ingredients for the Phycox MAX Soft Chews Joint Support Dog Supplement are different the flavor profiles might differ as well.

Excellent Product & great results for my Sr pup!

I've tried a LOT of joint supplement products for my 11 year old Border Collie, including Dasuquin, Wuffes, & others & didn't see much improvement in his mobility

I've tried a LOT of joint supplement products for my 11 year old Border Collie, including Dasuquin, Wuffes, & others & didn't see much improvement in his mobility - BUT when I put him on Phycox - his energy & agility came back like he was 5 years younger! HUGE & very noticeable improvement to the point that even other people mentioned that he seemed so much better! Phycox has stronger potency in side by side comparison to other brands, it smells pleasant & my dog LOVES it! It's wonderful to take him hiking again & have him running & jumping like he use to, livin' the good life!

Our girl is getting older and we noticed her beginning to have some trouble getting up the stairs as well as she used to, so our vet recommended this product and not only does she LOVE it, but we have noticed improvement in her already after a week or two! She also has an extremely sensitive stomach and needs hydrolyzed food, and this hypoallergenic version of the supplement is perfect, she seems to do great with it! Glad we found it and would recommend for joint pain and as a hypoallergenic option!

Been getting these for years and they gradually go up in price every time I buy them. But this most recent purchase was a $15 increased from last time and that was with the auto ship discount! It is an insane cost for something that has not had any increase to the quantity, formula change, packaging, etc. I will start shopping around to see if I can find anywhere else because Chewy’s prices are getting painful.

Refuses

Unfortunately, my dog will not eat it. And I can’t use a pill pocket because she’s on a special diet. So I’m sorry to say I can’t recommend this.

Works but dog hates the taste

Regular glucosamine didn’t work for my dog, but this stuff does. However, he hates the taste. I try to mask it and cut them up in smaller pieces, mixed in with wet

Huge jar of Phycox

Its a good product but next time I need to order bite size for my 16 lb dog. I won't have to cut them in half like I'm doing now. This size jar is good for bigger

Its a good product but next time I need to order bite size for my 16 lb dog. I won't have to cut them in half like I'm doing now. This size jar is good for bigger & heavier dogs. Otherwise product seems to be doing what it is supposed to be doing. Very expensive though.

This was recommended by my vet for my Yorkie due to luxating patella. We’ve gone through one container, but since this is more of a preventative measure it’s hard to tell if it makes a difference. I haven’t had any issue getting her to eat the chews, however they give her pretty bad gas.
