Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
Fill with treats, dogs will poz, nudge, nose, and nibble to release the hidden reward. Easy to clean by hand, or on the top rack of the dishwasher.
I love that this is so easy to clean. Easily flip out the funnel shaped area and can easily fit my hand in and clean outside an inside. This is especially helpful because the material is rubbery and fur/hair/dust sticks to it. She absolutely loves chasing this around to get treat out. The shape is conducive to only letting some out at a time, rarely ever dumping it’s content like other treat dispensers. The shape also makes it more interesting, sometimes rolling, wobbling, sometimes flat on the floor. Durable as well, as we’ve had it for approximately a year with moderate wear and tear (small chunks of material peeled from teeth marks or chewed) but still fully functional.
I bought this about a month ago and from the moment I took it out of the box and my dog sniffed it, she hated and was terrified of it for some reason she has never found a toy that she’s had this reaction to. She would take the long way through the house to avoid it. I left some treats in it and moved it to the edge of the room and kind of forgot about it, maybe reminding her of it every once in a while and she was not a fan. Well the other day she fell in love with it and would carry it around the house to get the treats out. I guess she needed some time, I’m not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but maybe just give it some time. She is choosing this toy over her snuffle mats now.
I love this toy! I load it up with treats and get 20 minutes of mental stimulation for my pup. I should note that my dog easily gets bored with mental stimulation toys but she still loves this. I didnt read that it was mint scented not sure why it is but its doesnt bother me. Piper loves to pick it up and drop it down so treats explode out and then she sniffs all over to pick up the treats. Keeps her entertained and at a great price.
I didn't expect this to be indestructible. I was just hoping for a few weeks, and I would have been ecstatic about three months. My pup, 13 months, 62 pounds, great dane mix destroyed this in all of five minutes. We used it once.
This is a great challenging puzzle feeder for a dog that finishes all other puzzle feeders within 5 minutes. It fits her small/medium sized kibble perfectly. My only complaint is the outside texture is a little sticky and picks up particles quickly but is pretty easy to hand wash.
I am always looking for new toys and puzzles for mealtime. When I heard about this, I knew we needed to try it. All three of the dogs love using it when it is filled, but our boy plays with it all the time even if it isn’t filled with anything. Very successful!
So I am having trouble figuring out how this lasts any length of time for their dogs. Pretty much all treats come out extremely easy. I can see if you filled it with a lot of kibble how it could be fun. But I do not use these toys for their kibble. Also one of my labs is dumb and chews treat dispensing toys instead of rolling them around so he has chewed a bunch of slits into this in just a couple uses. Very unimpressed.
My six month old lab is crazy for this toy. It's made of soft silicon-like material, so bounces in unpredictable ways. My pup slicks her whole snout in the toy, pounces on it, carries it around, etc. If I put larger treats in (e.g. ones that don't fall out easily), it keeps her occupied for nearly 30 minutes. Only down side is she cracked it after a month of hard play.
Layla has never been a fan of silicon toys, so I really should have know better. No matter how enticing the teat in the ball, she won't go for it. I'll be donating it to a local rescue. I did get a good laugh out of it when I filled it for individually wrapped chocolates and gave it to my wife.
I didn't know this was going to be such a success. My dog took to it right away. I put max half cup of kibble in it at a time because anything more than that and it will come out on the first flip. She is eager to interact with it every time and it keeps her busy while I work. This toy is so fun for her. She carries it around, picks it up and drops it... Even I'm enjoying it. Easy to rinse out when it gets dirty or covered in floor dust/hair.
