The Small size toy measures 9.5 x 2 x 2 inches, the Medium size measures 11 x 2 x 2 inches, the Large size measures 16 x 3 x 3 inches, and the X-Large size measures 22 x 3.5 x 3.5 inches.

Smells like burnt wood

I dont remember it stinking when i first got it. The other day when i would go near the bird cage that it was in, i could smell burning wood. I thought maybe it had something to do with the recent Canadian wild fires. After i kept smelling it the next day i narrowed the smell down to this toy. It stinks like burnt wood for whatever reason. I feel bad for my bird that was trapped in her cage with it. Needless to say, its in the garbage now.

My sulfur crested cockatoo has plucked a lot of his feathers so is bald in front. He also developed an inward but overgrown bottom beak. We are working with a real avian vet & using two meds. The big help has been this toy. It’s strong but he works and works on it. He didn’t know what to do with it at first but he spends hours pulling out the inside. He hasn’t totally stopped wanting to pull out a feather but we have hope that he will continue making progress and growing feather.
