Chewy stopped carrying the Ultraoil Brand which was amazing as it came with all omegas, hemp, and fish oil. That brand was also recommend by our vet and used for years, and helped with her skin & shedding in a natural way. She used to shed a lot when we firat got her and Ultraoil helped with that. We decided to try this brand since we couldn't get Ultraoil through chewy. Immediately noticed that our pup started to shed more after switching to this. As well as my pup not like this as much. After using this for almost a year we stopped. We looked for other brands on chewy for something similar to Ultraoil but none had all omegas, fish oil, and hemp oil in one- many brands on chewy only a few of these nutrients. So instead went to our local pet store and they are going to order Ultraoil for us. Also, vet checked pup out and she's healthy, her shedding is normal, Ultraoil really did help with that. If chewy brings back Ultraoil, I order it from chewy again.
The serving size for my dog is 3 pumps a day. The pump on the bottle is one of the nicest I've used, and I am able to make a "half pump" come out without making a mess. I bought it for my hopefully pregnant dog as source of DHA. Within 3 days of regularly using this her coat was fuller, shinier, and no flakes to be found. I may start using this on a regular basis with all of my dogs.
My English bulldog had irritated skin and wrinkles and we tried a lot of things to help with it. Once we started him on this salmon oil his skin is so much better ! It’s tough finding products that work for our temperamental bullies , so I highly recommend if your dog isn’t allergic to salmon!
Bottle change from navy blue to white. Overall good product my husky love. Have not seen any major changes in coat quality.
Great product. I've been using it for years. My 10 year old black lab loves it.
The product is good, but it came to us in a leaky bottle. The box and the other items in the box were oily. This happened despite the fact that the bottle was loosely wrapped in a plastic bag
I have three cats and two dogs. All of them eat this salmon oil without complaint, but the one 12-yr-old cat absolutely LOVES it. She's always been a somewhat picky eater, but when I put a squirt of this on her canned food, she goes crazy for it! Maybe her sense of smell is diminished with age and this fishy-smelling oil makes the food taste better. I will definitely keep using this product to entice Kiki to eat her dinner.
My dog has been itchy for the whole spring. He's a greyhound, lab mix; dry skin. He stopped itching within 2 days. I thought it was a fluke and took him off it. He started itching the next day. now he gets it every morning and doesn't itch that much. He does get salmon breath after eating.
I am constantly looking for healthy things to add to my dogs food that they enjoy and ones that add health benefits to their meals. I have 3 very picky dogs, and they love this stuff. It's nice that it comes with a pump that makes it easy to measure out onto their food!
This item is a good value for the price. If you have a picky dog or cat don't get this for them. They won't eat it. Only my dog that eats everything will gobble it down.
