It said Budgie for type however the description says 2” wide. I’m looking for a perch for an African grey.

The 12, 14 and 16 inch perches have a small-sized diameter and are meant for smaller birds such as parakeets, finches, lovebirds. The 18, 20 and 24 inch sizes have a medium-sized diameter meant for medium birds such as greys, conures, amazons, small cockatoos. The 28, 30 and 36 inch perches have a large-sized diameter meant for larger birds such as macaws and large cockatoos.

How is the length measured? Is it from the end of the wood to the other end of the wood or from the end of the metal post to the end of the opposite post?

This perch is measured from one end of the metal post to the other end of the metal post.

Need to know what type of wood. Could this be Dragonwood. I know it says hardwood from Florida but I need specifics. Looking for Dragonwood.

The species name is rusty lyonia, commonly known as dragon wood.

Would the diameter on the 30 inch perch be too big for a conure?

The small hardwood perch is recommended for a conure. The diameter of this perch is going to measure close to 1 inch.

It can be attached at both ends.

I’m not sure how I will use this since it doesn’t fit across the cage and it has a screw on both ends. The wood and size is fabulous. I will figure it out

Fits full length of cage

This is so great- OWA loves it. Would have given 5 stars has the bolts been straight. They had a weird angle which made it hard to secure.

Way larger than pictured

It was much larger in person. The diameter is way too big for my bird. There was a fake bird photoshopped onto the perch in the description which was misleading

Quality

The sizes are as advertised, quality is very good. I purchased 4 and love them. I did have to cut them down a little but wasn't a problem. A hacksaw did quick work

The sizes are as advertised, quality is very good. I purchased 4 and love them. I did have to cut them down a little but wasn't a problem. A hacksaw did quick work of sizing down. I was able to use the wing nuts in opposing manner to remove stud. Drilled new holes and rethreaded the studs back in.
