I got this to entertain my cat, and the first time I turned it on he played with it for a few hours straight (success!). The butterfly piece on top flutters, with an impressive wing-fluttering sound to go along with the movement. Our cat is indoor/outdoor, so I'm happy he has something to play with inside during the winter. Very happy with this purchase!

We have 4 cats, and all 4 love it! They sit around it while the motor moves a toy underneath the mat. It entrances them all, especially my little disabled cat. It gives him something to focus on, especially when we are gone. I love that it turns off when not played with for a long time, and that within the time window, can be reactivated with touch. The little toy on top is extra and often looked past, but during play with all of them, gets a little attention too. It's interesting enough for our cats that it was worth the $30!

I've been holding off on writing a review to see how long the honeymoom period would last with this. It's been over 6 months and I am pleased to say my cats actually

I've been holding off on writing a review to see how long the honeymoom period would last with this. It's been over 6 months and I am pleased to say my cats actually still play with this on a daily basis. They love it. Typically toys get played with for a week and forgotten about. This is worth the money! Highly recommend

Theo and Arya still love this toy after a week. Their favorite is the feather underneath the cover. Theo has managed to tip it over sometimes but they still have fun and it hasn’t broken. He’s managed to get the feather off a couple of times and walks off proudly with his prey, but it’s easy to put back on.

Disappointed

The toy stops after only 5 minutes! The cat should be able to restart it by playing with it but my kitties will not continue to play with it if it’s not moving!

So it just stays off and they walk away! Frustrating that I need to continue to hit it for it to move again! 5 minutes moving is not long enough!

This is an awesome toy! My kitten can’t get enough of it and plays with it non stop. She loves both the butterfly and the feather toys, but especially when they go together, so the different settings are nice to have. The battery life has been great too - we’ve been using it daily for over a week now and it’s still going on the original charge out of the box. I had an issue with the motion activation sensor and reached out to Potaroma customer service and they were extremely prompt to reply and very helpful. 5 stars!
