This is safe for all ages and sizes. Since health is this brand's top priority, PrettyLitter was developed by a team of veterinarians and scientists specifically for cats and is household friendly. PrettyLitter is made of super absorbent Silica Gel, combined with a proprietary formulation of indicators to help monitor a cat's urine for acidity and alkalinity levels outside the average range, plus the visible presence of blood. Silica gels are inert, clear crystals made from naturally occurring minerals. The litter is not absorbed by the bowel and does not swell in the presence of humidity. PrettyLitter uses naturally occurring minerals that are safe for cats, even when they breathe or ingest it. Of course, ingesting a lot of any type of litter is not great, so keep an eye on your cat if they love to munch on litter. Another perk: If you or your cat have asthma or a similar condition, you’ll appreciate the lack of dust in crystal litter.

No smell no mess super clean

My cat had a urinary blockage and a bad uti, switched him to pretty litter from pine wood pellets, cats love it, just scoop the poop and stir litter twice daily, no smell no mess, i have 2 cats and stainless steel litter boxes, colors are spot on when it comes to monitoring ph levels, my female cat Kiki had a fit when I switched from a cheaper brand, had to go back to pretty litter, and the other litter didn't last a month Like pretty litter does. Now on I will not switch to any other litter ever again! Just to save money... It's pricey but well worth it!! Pretty litter for the win!!!!

All the difference in our small home

We currently are refurbishing a 650 SQ ft cabin. While doing so we share our 27 ft 5th wheel with a 13 year old cat. Keeping our home from smelling like cat urine

We currently are refurbishing a 650 SQ ft cabin. While doing so we share our 27 ft 5th wheel with a 13 year old cat. Keeping our home from smelling like cat urine was difficult using our old clay litter. We were having to change it every 3-4 days. Pretty Litter has enabled us to go a month between changing as long as we scoop solids. It's been amazing. And even with the price, by not having to change it as often I figure we are saving $10-$15 a month.

I know there's always that one review that's negative, and there's a bunch of positive ones. This is not that review. This stuff is garbage. It was great for me, all I had to scoop was the poop. But I had to change the litter at least once a week or it smelled so bad my cat would cry at me. The bottom was so saturated with pee, it was liquid. The litter did not absorb as advertised. And I got the scented. The first time my cat used it it was already stinky. This product is garbage. Don't waste your money!!

6 Cats and NO smell!

This product is a staple in our house at this point. We have 6 cats and ZERO litter box odor. Our boxes are used with Pretty Litter, daily cleaning, and monthly litter-changes. Every time I restart the box with a full litter change, we first clean it with Natures Miracle foaming spray, sprinkle Arm & Hammer Litter Deodorizer all across the bottom, add new litter, more deodorizer, stir it in, a little more deodorizer, stir it in some more. I scoop the poo daily and stir the pee around so its not concentrated in one spot. I add more deodorizer weekly, stirring it in each time. The scent is a little strong at first but "airs out" in just a few minutes. With this "system" we have never had pee-stained feet or any other smells. The fragrance does not bother the cats at all. It is not dusty, my cats all have silky shiny coats. I really couldnt be happier with this "routine".

Misleading

Aesthetically it’s nice - the texture and lightness. It’s been 2 weeks however and it’s starting to smell. We have 1 cat so the product claiming to last 2 months

It stinks after 2 days and it’s extremely dusty

I would definitely not recommend it specifically for the false advertising about “odor control and 99.9% dust free” as advertised. You all are prolly killing cats

Works well, but deos not clump urine

I was disappointed with this product. It gets stuck to my cats' fur and our towels, which can be more difficult to get out than clay litter. Furthermore, it clumps

I was disappointed with this product. It gets stuck to my cats' fur and our towels, which can be more difficult to get out than clay litter. Furthermore, it clumps poorly so there is a lot of leftover pieces that fall through the scoop, and the urine does not clump at all. It does however actually change colour so it can be helpful when monitoring health and is OK at keeping the scent down although I have had to add baking soda to help. I probably will not buy again.

The original litter had no smell and if you changed closer to the end of the month then the litter could get a bit odorous at times. This litter since it has a smell actually helps with that problem which is quit lovely. My one and only complaint as with the previous is that my cat shimmies the small silicon beads all over the house when the litter is refreshed. Alas, it seems a small price to pay to know she is healthy. I shall just henceforth be know as Mr. Sweepy as I was never given a name.
