Fun mix of textures

my parakeet, Picasso, was interested right away! he doesnt normally play with toys first thing and needs to see them outside his cage for a few days before i hang them up. this case was different entirely, the second he helped me unbox this one, he was all over it. i was surprised by him playing with this toy right away. he beaked, pushed it around and even started picking apart the coir sections and the braided rope parts. i appreciated that it is also held together by a paper type of rope instead of anything metal or plastic. not to mention you can also easily hide treats under the coconut shell sections or in the hollow ends of the sticks (i peel millet berries off a whole stick so it makes a long stem end and thread that in those holes) for foraging. Pico approves!
