I bought this for my mouse and he absolutely loves it! It provides both a climbing surface and something for him to chew.

Snags nails
By Loveylove on Dec 3, 2020
My lovebird is scared of this ladder because his nails get stuck in it. His nails are not long at all, but they snag in the rope when he tries to step on the ladder, and he gets stuck.

Such a nice bridge
By Oatmealwipes on Aug 31, 2020
This bridge is so cute and my rats use it a lot, I will get more if they chew through this one. It's long enough to go across my cage's depth. It's a little wobbly with only one clasp at each side, so you could add one to each side to make it sturdy, however my rats can get around on it the way it comes. I've seen people using the wooden pieces to hide food and other things when the bridge falls apart. For the money, it's definitely worth it.

Decent rope ladder/bridge
By rattylady on Nov 19, 2020
I use it in my rat cage as bridge, but I keep it lower because it easily turns over. Might be more stable with more clips.

Good for small or young rats
By Ell232 on Jul 2, 2020
I bought this for my rats, 2 2 month olds and their dad who is 6 months. I have it going to their space pod from a corner. The young ones can use it pretty well, I had to secure it with zip ties because it was very unstable with the hooks it came with. Their dad can't really use it because of his size and weight. He's too heavy and it's not wide enough nor stable enough for him to be comfortable using it. I'll probably phase it out of their cage when the young ones get a little bigger.

Bit small - better as a bridge than a ladder
By Kenzi on May 8, 2020
As other reviews have noted, it's not effectively 17" long- I measure 10" from the first rung to the last. In person it seems a lot smaller with the rungs more closely spaced, so it doesn't work very well as a ladder. However, I tried hanging it as a sort of horizontal platform and put a treat on it to get my cockatiel to try walking on it. It's nice and wobbly without being flimsy, so I hope it provides a bit of mental stimulation as she thinks about balancing, and physical exercise for her feet. She seems to like sitting on it. If you see it as more of a climbing structure than a ladder, it's not a bad buy considering the price.

A Must-Have
By ZebraSponsor on Jun 12, 2020
All birds need a wood bridge. Even though, the rope part can get messy to clean; they like the natural rope because they like to peck at the rope material. It will take a long time for them to pull it apart though, with finches being so small. If you keep regular maintenance, this is a must have. They love skipping across the bridge. Well Made.
