This product is made of rust-resistant aluminum, which is sturdy enough to hold several cats or kittens for extended periods of time.

Does this cage easily fold for storage? I’m a foster and won’t need to keep it up all the time. Thank you

This cat home is fairly simple to put together and take down. The instructions may be viewed by clicking the “Instructions” tab, next to the “Description” tab, just under the product photos. There is a pdf link to the "Assembly Instructions" to then click on.

Can you purchase new platform covers and hammocks for this?

At this time, all replacement parts for this cat home are only available directly through the manufacturer, Prevue Pet Products.

Could the top be put on with just the first level assembled? I'm looking for a multi cat play pen as well as a larger cage for car rides. If this could check both boxes that would be awesome!

The roof panel may be assemble onto the lower levels to create a smaller pen.

I like that it has wheels and can be unassembled to store for winter. But the bottom pan does not pull out and fills with rain water since I'm using it to give my cats some outdoor time. I have covered it with a tarp (just the top, so the rain water still gets in). I plan to drill some drain holes, but it would have been nice if it had addressed the issue and been made more outside friendly.

Suits our Need!

We purchased this cage so we could figure out which of our three cats was eliminating outside the litter boxes; by using this comfy playpen for two days straight

We purchased this cage so we could figure out which of our three cats was eliminating outside the litter boxes; by using this comfy playpen for two days straight only we quickly determined which cat was the culprit! Strange enough she doesn’t want to come out of the cage now; she’s free to roam a little during the day and chooses to stay inside! Picture and description fits very well. We are very satisfied with this product. It did take about an hour for two ppl to assemble. Not difficult just a little bit of work. Give it a thumbs up!
