Where is the ingredients sourced from?

Does freeze drying help reduce the high amount of bacteria in raw dog foods?

This freeze-dried recipe utilizes probiotics to eliminate bad bacteria via a process known as competitive exclusion. In simple terms, probiotics displace, or "outcompete," any potentially harmful pathogens. Through third-party research, Primal has validated that the probiotics in their freeze-dried formulas fight harmful pathogenic bacteria long after products leave the warehouse, and even after bags are opened.

A topper should have great taste! This one doesnt taste good.

My dog, who loves fish, isn’t interested in this topper at all. He refuses to eat it alone, and it doesn’t make his kibble more appealing. Probably too mild in aroma

My dog, who loves fish, isn’t interested in this topper at all. He refuses to eat it alone, and it doesn’t make his kibble more appealing. Probably too mild in aroma and flavor for dogs needing an appetite trigger. The smell and taste are surprisingly mild for a freeze-dried fish product. Texture is a bit hard, so it doesn’t entice picky dogs. (My dog is over 30Lb, medium size). This is really a big deception! I can make him swallow a piece of it using cream cheese (like a pill) but that wasn't the idea when I decided to order it.

I am disappointed. I have tried other toppers in the past (Instinct) and they enjoyed it, so I wanted to try them on Primal. They will not touch this. Maybe

haha, this smells like turtle food! IYKYK!

we didnt really care for this much at all ,sadly. the two cats i have both stuck their noses up at this, sadly. if your animals are able to chew the freeze dried

we didnt really care for this much at all ,sadly. the two cats i have both stuck their noses up at this, sadly. if your animals are able to chew the freeze dried pieces with ease though then perhaps they may not have the time to really analyze the pieces of food, however agin perhaps it was also the size which my animals found slightly daunting?
