The last two times I have had these auto-shipped to my home, the bites have been very hard and tough to chew, much different than my initial times having them in

The last two times I have had these auto-shipped to my home, the bites have been very hard and tough to chew, much different than my initial times having them in my order where they were soft. My partner's older dog has a lot of plaque and these had been helping with slowly getting it off (there was even a time where a piece of plaque came off was so large I thought I'd broken a ceramic mug or something!), but now they have been much less helpful as he has trouble chewing them. Unsure of why the last few were hard, but if you can get them and they are soft, they are amazing. I may swap back to the powder or bones for a bit though.

I ordered some of these in October and November. Both times they were hard and chew. Definitely not the soft bites they once were.

Our dog is extremely picky when it comes to food and treats. We were very pleasantly surprised that he actually really likes these! Given his size, he can have 6 bites daily and he gobbles them up each time. I can't speak to how well they work keeping his teeth clean since he just had a dental cleaning, but so far so good! Buying more now to make sure he doesn't run out.
