Never Unrolled

The plastic is so thick and even after pinning it down with two heavy table legs, it was never able to lay flat thus never actually protected the carpet.

I was looking for something to go from the carpet in the hallway to the vinyl floor in the laundry room. The cats sleep and eat in the laundry room away from the other pets. But they claw at the carpet under the door. So the carpet is getting shabby and coming off. Because of the poky things that hold the mat in place, it really can only go to the edge of the carpet. So they can still reach the carpet underneath. I've used tape to keep them out. But I have to keep replacing it because now they think the tape is a toy.
