How to put on dog harness

To put the harness on your dog, gently slip the thicker, neck piece over their head and make sure the latch to attach the leash is on their back. Then, have your dog step through the loop with their front, left foot and grab the remaining clasp. Extend the clasp behind the right elbow and connect it to the buckle.

I just received my order but I need to know how the harness is supposed to fit? Does the clip belong on the dogs chest or back. Do you have a picture of how the dog wears it?

The Puppia label will go under their chin. The strap that you clasp will then be going across their back and the D-Ring to attach a leash will be on top of the back between their shoulders.

Is this harness good for a miniature dachshund given their potential issues with neck/back issues?

The purpose of using harness is prevents injuries to your dog's trachea, especially if he has a tendency to pull on the leash. By using the harness, when the dog owner pulled, the dog receive less to no pressure to the neck.

Great neck size, but arms cut in.

I got this because my dog has a tiny neck. Her neck is only 9inches, but her chest is 16-17 inches. The sizes in this fit perfectly and I've never found a harness

I got this because my dog has a tiny neck. Her neck is only 9inches, but her chest is 16-17 inches. The sizes in this fit perfectly and I've never found a harness that fits in those areas so well. However, if you look closely at the photos in the main imaging. The part that goes on their back is really short. If you have a longer dog, it will cut into their arms. It even looks like it will cut into the dog in the photos arms. We only tried it on her. We didn't use it, as I'm hoping to return it, but I haven't figured out how to do that so far. If you have a shorter dog with the measurements, then it should fit well.

We’ve been using these for years. Started with our last shih tzu and now with our Shih Tzu puppies. They are sturdy but flexible and breathable and they have a nice big hook on the back. And the hook is even big on the XS which isn’t the case when you buy other brands. Definitely recommend!

More comfortable for my dog than a collar

My tiny puppy doesn't like a collar. She always tries to remove it and it's been hard to find one that fits her well. She doesn't try to escape her harness though

Measure the dogs head too!

I think this would have fit my pup perfectly but he has a giant head and I could not cut the harness over his head. He is still a puppy . Hoping he grows into

You definitely get what you pay for with this one. I bought an xl. Its very small,I have a goldendoodle. She a biggen. About 90-95 pounds. I tried to put it on her

When I took it out of the package I wasnt happy it was very thin material and just not strong feeling. Not happy it will go back to the store. Probly great for a dog no more then 35 Pounds.

Now that I have a bigger size, I'm happier. After measuring the dog, I ordered a size small for him, this should have fit him according to the size chart. Apparently

Apparently they run smaller in size because I had to reorder one in the medium size and it fits perfect. Chewy is so good, I had it in hand the very next day.
