    Tasty Puppy Treats

    By on

I received a free sample of Puppy Chow Healthy Start Salmon Flavor Training Treats. The sample came at the perfect time, as I am fostering 3 puppies, who are 8 weeks old. First of all, my puppies love these treats! The treats are the perfect size for little mouths, and are a good texture for training. I have been using them to pad-train the puppies, and the training treats are working so well. Whenever I catch a puppy doing its business on a pad, I immediately reward the pup with a Puppy Chow treat. I am ordering more treats from Chewy!

Not tasty for my puppy or dog

    By on

Neither my dog nor my puppy would eat these ; they are gummy and don’t smell like much, definitely not a good reward for training. Bought three bags , so I will donate the unopened two bags to a shelter I guess. I’ll stick with pieces of chicken jerky which also make a good soundvto attract dogs when shaken . These puppy treats stick together because of gumminess and therefore no good sound to attract the dog. Not a great product . My dogs are hounds and frenchies, very food motivated breeds but totally uninterested in whatever these treats are.

My Puppy was Over the Moon for these!

    By on

I received a free sample of the Puppy Chow Healthy Start Salmon Flavor Training Dog Treats in exchange for an honest review. I have always been a big fan of Purina products so I was excited about trying these and they did not disappoint. My puppy who can be a bit picky liked these right from the start. They are just the right size for my smaller puppies although they may challenge a large breed a little bit as not being a big enough treat. He really seemed to like the flavor and I have to add that my cat Goblin really wanted to try them but I said they were for the puppy!

    Great Training Treat for Furbaby!

    By on

I received a free sample of Purina Puppy Chow Healthy Start Salmon Flavor Training Dog Treats and was a bit skeptical at first to try them. I recently just got a new puppy and have only fed him one brand of treats. I truly believe in feeding your fur babies the best possible food and treats that are available. I gave my little Dexter a treat for being a good boy and he absolutely loved it! He goes crazy for these treats! He will do whatever you ask him to do in order to get one he jumps and spends with excitement! I am so glad that I was able to try these because honestly I probably would not have purchased them. We have already purchased another bag as he is in love with them. Stubborn Husky Bait

    By on

I've been using these treats to teach my 7 week old siberian husky basic commands. Using these, he has learned: sit, lay down, and come. He is currently working on others! He is a smart little guy who knows to ring his potty bells to go outside, so it really wasn't difficult. He definitely enjoys these, and will try to run off with the bag if I set it on the floor next to me. I always break the treats since we're working hard on commands, and they can be pretty difficult to separate which can annoy your anxious puppy waiting for the reward. He also equally enjoys frozen broccoli florets as a treat, but I would have a gas hazard in the house if I used them for training! These don't upset his puppy tummy, and they have important nutrients. To be completely honest, I would prefer a treat with very few ingredients, and higher quality. I tend to sway more towards homemade where I control what goes in them and trust the source of all ingredients. And yes, I realize how snobby that sounds. Lol. These will definitely do the trick though, and so will your pup! I was sent these for free in exchange for a review, but my opinions are my own! … more

    My dog enjoyed them!

    By on

I recieved a free sample of Puppy Chow Healthy Start Salmon Flavor Training Dog Treats and our almost one year old husky lab puppy seemed to enjoy them! We are working on sit and stay and these were a great size for that. He seemed to enjoy the change of flavor because most of his usual treats are bacon flavored. If these are the same price as his favorite beggin strips I may purchase these again!

    Best Puppy Treats EVER!

    By on

I recieved these treats to try and review for my corgi puppies and wow! I have never really recommended a treat before but this one deserves a recommendation. The bag is fairly large since the treats are small for puppies mouths you get 7 oz for an amazing price. The treats are perfect size and the pups love the flavor the instantly were willing to do anything for a puppy treat! They can also be broken in half which is great for training and super sensitive teething puppy mouths. Overall this product is a winner and if you breed or just have a puppy I highly reccomend you try a bag!

    Great starter treats!

    By on

I was given the opportunity to try this product free for my honest opinion and I have already bought more!! My female dog just had puppies and we're at the age of weaning and getting them ready for their forever home so these treats came in very handy! The size is perfect for little mouths and the texture is soft enough for a puppy but holds up well in the interactive toys we give them stuffed with these treats! Not only do the pups love them, mom does too! Thank you Puppy Chow for making such a great and innovative product for puppies!

They are ok puppy didn’t like them too much

    By on

I was quite surprised that my dog didn’t like these as much as I was thinking that he would. They are a good size for training and for giving a quick treat when he’s done something good but he was very hesitant on eating them. He usually loves treats but something about these he didn’t like. He finally ended up eating them but he doesn’t like them the way he loves his other treats. They are a simple healthy treat for dogs and I’m sure there are puppies that would love these. Mine just happened to not care for them much

    Great Training Treats

    By on

I received the Purina training treats for free to review. I have a couple chihuahua pups and they are stubborn. I was having a hard time training them. I was skeptical about these treats when I first received them. I was surprised at how well my pups were doing. They really like the treats so their behavior in certian ways has got a lot better. They still need more training and I will continue to purchase these treats.
