Our three dogs, Miles Davis (11), Melody Rose (5), and Blitzen Noel (4 months) all love these salmon treats!!! They make training so much easier!
My 8 week old Husky does not like them. At first, he wouldn't touch them. When he did finally eat one, he acted like it was way to hard to chew. My 9 month old chocolate lab will eat them, but he doesn't seem to go nuts over them like some other treats. I bought Puperoni training treats, and my Husky goes crazy over those. They also love Blue Buffalo blue bits.
Like others, our pup - 10-12 week brittany- isn't a huge fan. Sometimes he'll turn them down. He usually just swallows them whole.
The bag of treats arrived with hole in bottom of bag with treats spilling all over the box. Notice the top is sealed.
Cherokee loves these treats. I like that they are very small compared to most other treats. Also Salmon flavor is very good for her with lots of protein.
I purchased these for my 2 month old German shepherd puppy (21lbs) and these were too hard for him. They weren’t practical as a training treat as they were larger. I know you can break them in half, but that isn’t convenient for a training treat.
I bought these for training my 10 week old puppy. He wouldn't touch them. Neither would my 3 adult pups. They are a good size and kind of crunchy. Would be good for training.
I really wanted to love these, as they are an excellent value. Most training treats can get a little pricey, so I was thrilled to see how cheap these were. I realize now it’s because they’re nearly impossible to use as training treats. They’re much too hard!! My puppy drops them when I try to give them to her on our walks, and then leaves them behind. If they were softer, I’d buy tons of them. The idea is there with the scoring to break them in half, but the execution is seriously lacking.
Little guy is in puppy boot camp, learning to walk on a leash, potty, etc. He is food motivated, loves these treats, perfect size for him.
First got these for my German Shepherd when we brought him home. He seemed to really like them and if we wanted we could break them in half at the grove. This made me feel a lot better so I knew he wouldn’t choke on them. Super chewy for them and small so they didn’t crumble in our treat pouch. Definitely recommend for smaller dogs and puppies though
