Purina has truly knocked it out of the park with Enrich. This is an expertly formulated ration balancer that is absolutely superb for horses on a single-forage diet. One of the standout features is its versatility across all life stages, making it a reliable choice for everything from developing youngsters to mature horses. It bridges the nutritional gap perfectly, providing a concentrated source of essential nutrients without the unnecessary calories or starch found in traditional heavy grains. I am currently using this for one of my foals who is growing at an incredible rate—she is on track to finish at 17+ hands. Because of her size and speed of development, my veterinarian was very specific: we have to be extremely careful with her intake. The challenge is providing the high-quality protein and mineral profile necessary for her bone and soft tissue development while ensuring she does not grow "too fast." Enrich fits that bill to a "T." It allows me to provide the precise fortification she requires for such a massive frame without the excess energy that triggers dangerous growth spurts. It has become a non-negotiable part of her daily feeding program, and since she absolutely loves the taste, I never have to worry about her leaving any of her ration behind. It provides the peace of mind that she is getting a balanced diet while maintaining the slow, steady growth rate my vet demands.

This is one of the best balancers you can find! I use it with older horses as well as weanlings and yearlings. The feeding rate is low enough that it’s both economical

This is one of the best balancers you can find! I use it with older horses as well as weanlings and yearlings. The feeding rate is low enough that it’s both economical as well as easy to feed. I have not had any horses refuse it, and yet it doesn’t contain the sugars of some other grains. We use this to supplement our grass hay, and all our horses look great. Purina does their research and has ionophore free mills which makes me feel confident feeding their mixes!

Enrich is a great product for miniature horses, donkeys and horse who need vitamins and minerals but not the extra calories. JR my quarter horse enjoyed Enrich more than any other ration balancer out there. His farrier felt his hooves have improved, his coat is nice but we don't need to worry about the extra calories he doesn't need.

I am leery of feeding pellets because one of the horses is very picky. He did not hesitate to eat his portion. As always, Purina products are high quality. This is perfect for my easy keepers to ensure they get everything they need.

I recently started my easy keeper mare on this product based on her nutritionist's recommendation. She had no issues transitioning onto it and eats it all up. I feel confident that she's getting all the nutrients she needs with her forage. I was so happy to see Chewy start carrying the Purina Mills equine line of feeds and supplements. It's so much easier to have it delivered!
