Recommend for any owners looking to improve diet

We are very satisfied with this mineral supplement for our horses, both our seniors and younger horses. Very happy with the ingredients and numerous nutrients packed

We are very satisfied with this mineral supplement for our horses, both our seniors and younger horses. Very happy with the ingredients and numerous nutrients packed in this supplement, especially right now in our harsh winter as our horses are foraging less and consuming more hay. None of our horses have complaints with the taste or texture, thankfully (a few are very picky with new feed additions). We recommend for owners looking for a safe mineral supplement, and we will likely purchase again in the future.

Powder Was Full of really Hard Chunks.

This product is a great concept; we feed a forage first or forage only diet (typically) that requires a vitamin/mineral balancer. Wanted to give this Purina product

This product is a great concept; we feed a forage first or forage only diet (typically) that requires a vitamin/mineral balancer. Wanted to give this Purina product a try for that role. Notably we have a 35 yr old senior that has minimal teeth—so powders and other items that are soft or can be softened are of utmost importance. And that’s where this product went off the rails for me. It was chock full of basically rocks—powder hardened into giant chunks. I don’t know if this is a batch issue or if the product frequently presents like this. But these ‘rocks’ could have been disastrous for my old horse. Total choke for a horse with dentition issues. I have had to sift it to use it. So this product is a no go for us.

Good Supplement - Just Not For Our Horses

I am probably being generous with 3 stars. Our horses did not care for this supplement, and very carefully left it at the bottom of their wall mounted feed bins

I am probably being generous with 3 stars. Our horses did not care for this supplement, and very carefully left it at the bottom of their wall mounted feed bins. I’ve tried for a week, with all the same results. I’ve trying adding mineral oil to get it to stick to their other feed, but most of it filters out and stays at the bottom. I’ll next try molasses. One mare has a habit of taking a mouthful of feed then walks away munching, thus I see the supplement being dribbled on the rubber mats. Our horses have stalls and large paddocks and turnouts, so perhaps for stalled up horses, my issues would not be a problem. Certainly a good idea of the supplement

Looks like a winner!

Smells good, looks good and he likes it. A supplement only works if your horse will eat it. Ice is just four years old and I was concerned about him getting enough

Smells good, looks good and he likes it. A supplement only works if your horse will eat it. Ice is just four years old and I was concerned about him getting enough nutrition from his hay during the winter when there isn't much else to eat in his pasture. Now I feel better knowing he is getting both vitamins and minerals and best of all, he thinks I'm giving him a treat. I just started feeding this to him and the true test to how well it works will be in the spring when he sheds his wooly winter coat and his spring coat comes in. I'm hoping that he will be shiny and dappled. Purina is a solid company with proven products for horses. I have high hopes for this supplement.

This mineral is wonderful. I put out free choice for my horses. I feel much better through the winter having the added minerals and salt. My horses are liking it
