My mare and foal both hold their weight beautifully on it, and the gastric support gives me real peace of mind. Their coats look great, their energy is steady, and they finish every bite. I using this Purina Feed 300 for pregnant mare & foals with my bred mare, Mabel! She's loving it! Although she comes greeting me at the gate to receive her feed

I using this Purina Feed 300 for pregnant mare & foals with my bred mare, Mabel! She's loving it! Although she comes greeting me at the gate to receive her feed pan, and she cleans it entirely up, she has not been on it long enough to actually see the benefits. But the ingredients & her willingness to come quickly to eat tell me a lot about the product & its freshness!!

This is actually a food my vet recommended, but I don’t particularly care for any food that has corn in the ingredient list as it’s just a filler that they can’t

Especially with babies and nursing mares, I feel like they could choose more nutritious ingredients. It’s fine- but not great.

Decent feed for animals in need of nutritional support. I wish it had more digestible fibers in it, like from alfalfa or beet pulp, for slower digestion/ metabolic

Decent feed for animals in need of nutritional support. I wish it had more digestible fibers in it, like from alfalfa or beet pulp, for slower digestion/ metabolic benefit. The mineral analysis was good for the amount that should be fed, but said again this is for horses with higher nutritional needs (as the label says, mare and foal).
