Disappointed
I received my package BUT it did not contain the variety that I had chosen. Instead of asking WHAT I wanted the substitutions to be, CHEWY made those decisions for me. My cat eats only a certain 'flavor' of food; the substitutions SHOULD have been cleared with me first.
Use to be good
The variety pack was our go to to give the cats a bit of variety but it seems something is amiss with the chicken flavor. I think it smells a little different and I've noticed dark brown material in the gravy, stuck to the bottom that was never there, the gravy use to be an overall light brown. As a result I have one cat that now refuses to eat it. I've continued to order this pack hoping it was just a fluke but it continues. We'll no longer be ordering this but instead stick with the other flavors.
Made Cat Sick
I bought this thinking it would give my cats some variety. I had purchased the urinary health wet cat food from Purina and they were ok with it. They ate the grain free food at first, but I opened one of the beef flavored cans and it was dried up and rubbery. I threw it away. However my cats started throwing up after eating it for several days. One of my cats then refused to eat it. When I changed back to their American Journey food they stopped throwing up. I would not recommend you purchase this.
Good Food/No Vet Approval
I bought this wet food because no vet authorization is required. I did the research online and learn that this brand is best for diabetic cats. It can also be fed to cats without diabetes. Diabetic food is high in protein, low in carbs and doesn't contain fillers. All three of my cats, including the diabetic one enjoy the food. I gave this food 4 stars and not five only because it is not cheap. Each tiny little can is more than a dollar.
We Think This Food Is Yummy!
After years on a prescription diet, my cats have finally graduated to “real” food. They love not having the monotony of the same flavor every day while still getting healthy food. There were always leftovers with the prescription food. This is gobbled down immediately.
good for Picky eaters
I have 6 indoor cats and 11 barn cats. They all love this product. No one walks away from the bowl. The grain free means more good stuff and less filler, and I can divide a small can into 3 bowls. I highly recommend.
My cat loves this stuff!
I previously ordered the bits and now we tried the pate. Layla likes it and eats it readily. I'm glad I changed. Service is very timely and speedy. It is a win-win-win all around! Thanks, Chewy.
Chowder for the Clowder!
My three cats are not particularly finicky, but they turned their noses up at two other brands of grain-free wet food. With Purina-One, they're polishing their bowls! They love this stuff! (thank goodness!)
cat not a fan
My cat is a big foodie and usually eats everything I put in her bowl but she only liked 3 of the flavors in this pack. The smell is very strong compared to fancy feast but the fish one smelled the strongest, which was the one flavor she did not touch. This is the first and only food I have bought for her that she would not finish completely.
Picky cat approved!
I have a very picky diabetic cat who recently started refusing wet food. I tried this kind and he has been eating it so I'm happy. I like the fact that there aren't any fillers or sneaky ingredients like rice added. What I am most impressed about, however, is the packaging! Recently a lot of my cans of cat food have been coming smashed, but these are all packed neatly in their own little cardboard holders. As long as my boy keeps eating this brand, I'll keep buying it!
