I was concerned that my little guy was putting on some extra weight, so I asked my vet, and he suggested switching to a weight management food. My buddy seems to enjoy the flavor, and his weight has evened out over about a month and a half. I’m happy to report that he is purrfectly healthy!

My amazing, beautiful and extremely food motivated cat-daughter, Marie, had gained up to 15 pounds around Covid time after a surgery that required her to eat only

My amazing, beautiful and extremely food motivated cat-daughter, Marie, had gained up to 15 pounds around Covid time after a surgery that required her to eat only wet food pretty much for life. The vet said she needed to come down from that to 11 or 10 to be at a healthy weight. I was shocked, I have never tried to get a cat to lose weight before so I wasn’t sure if it was possible, especially with a cat that loves food and eating more than anything else. We switched her from Fancy Feast to Purina One natural weight control ideal weight, and I was floored. Over the course of a few years she slimmed down noticeably, and her quality of life soared! She has more energy and is able to do things that she couldn’t before like lick her butt (omg) and jump on higher surfaces. She is now a few oz over 10 pounds, totally healthy and happy. I am thinking of switching her to purina one protein now that she is at her ideal weight and has maintained it for years! If you’re looking for a food to healthily help your cat lose weight, I recommend this one!

Chrissy only likes it slightly less than her favorite cat food fancy feast Because she will not eat it before her kibble like she does with fancy feast. She will always eat every last drop I give her and for weight loss, I will continue to feed it to her.
