Picky Old Girl
My senior English Bulldog is in some serious need to shed a few lbs due to her advancing arthritis and luxated knee. Her activity level has decreased significantly, so expectantly her weight has increased. I did a lot of research and chose this because of the mix of crunchy and soft food seemed the most appetizing in the weight lose category. Unfortunately she will not touch it. It sits there all day without more than a bite attempted. We have tried for 3 days now with no success. She hunts up and down for food because she is hungry but its not enough to bring her to the food bowl with this food in it. I guess its back to the old food until we find another option.
Had to throw bag away.
We had to throw away a 40 pound bag of dog food away. We brought it in within the same day it was delivered and it was filled with ants. We had no way to save any of the food. I couldn’t figure out how to submit something directly to chewy regarding this issue so I am doing this review. The bag must of been opened prior to delivery.
More energy
Started this dig food basically by accident. Ran out of my normal Purina food. I have seen a major improvement in my youngest Sheltie. She has more energy and pep!!! The other two have energy and beautiful coats. With the revived energy the weight management will definitely improve as we continue to use.
My chewy experience
Always wonderful once in a blue there's a glitch but they fix it right away no problems chewy is the best thing you could do for your dogs or cats or animals any kind of pet they've got you covered and they're very friendly too the products that they have are absolutely awesome from Toys to huts to little beds and food everything is great there are no problems with chewy.com I forgot to say they have a gdiscount too for automatic ordering have a great day and choose chewy
works well
Our chihuahua is just about at his proper weight and we wanted to get some diet food to mix with his regular food. Don't want him to get heavier. He just dove right into this food. Loves it! Eats it before his Ceasar dog food, which he also gets and loves. Glad we got it for him. Should really help in winter when he won't be outside as much.
My dog loves this food
Clover was gaining weight and lethargic, turns out she has a low functioning thyroid. Between this food and being put on levothyroxine, she is losing weight and starting to be herself again, hunting and running around protecting the farm.
works great when going off portioning chart
I originally used this when my oldest dog was over weight and it got her slimed down fairly quick (she is now on their senior dog food), now my Pitt Mix is heavy set ( I’m a big fan of treat giving) and she has been on it for about a year and went from 62 pounds to 56 pounds! We also got her a puppy to help burn some extra calories but she still managed to lose weight even with the extra treats I’ve been giving the older dogs while training our new pup, also this food was recommended by our Vet and we have been using the Purina One line for years it’s a great Quality food with a reasonable price point!

Purina Healthy Weight
Started my dogs on this product after vet advised them to lose weight. They were previously on Purina Chicken & Rice. In 6 months, they lost 4.5 pounds. The Healthy Weight Formula has been difficult to get, frequently out of stock.
