Luci likes it
I tried this cat food for the first time with my cat Luci. After reading about Purina pro plan chicken and rice, it looked like a healthy dry food, and my cat seemed to be getting bored with the food I was previously getting so I thought I would try it. It is twice as expensive as the other dry food, but she likes it so far, after two weeks, and it has healthier ingredients. So I will stick with it as long as she keeps eating it.
Can't fault Purina
Beginning with their kitten kibble and moving on to this one for my now 6 year old MaineCoon, ProPlan is still favorite for my cat. In addition to the product itself, having Purina behind it is an additional plus. In the past I have had product questions or concerns and have always received a same day email response.
Glowing results
We adopted our young cat about six weeks ago after she had weaned her litter of kittens and had been de wormed. This food has helped her get weight back on and her coat is looking shiny, much thicker and healthier. Only wish it wasn’t so pricey, but then I think she is worth it!
PRO PLAN: A WINNER!
This seems to be a very high-quality catfood (with commensurate prices!) and I'll continue to buy it because my 4 cats like it best. I can count on that! They'll eat it before they'll eat wet food, even though the wet food I offer them is very high-quality also. Go figure!
pro plan complete essentials very tasty
our cats were getting very picky with the pate they were fed & we were looking for a dry food which had a high ranking for nutrition. all of our cats love COMPLETE ESSENTIALS, the chicken & rice formula. many times they go for the dry rather than the wet. even though other flavors are available, there is no reason to try them. they love the chicken.
So far so good
My kittens love this food and I am slowly integrating it into their normal dry food. So far no tummy upsets and the price is more reasonable than many other brands. Plus the kitty on the bag looks like my Bing Clawsby which is fun too.
Sully is happy!
My cat Sully was very happy to get his favorite cat food. He was missing it because we ran out of it several days before we got Chewy's delivery. Now he is happy!
my cat loves it.
I was without it a couple weeks and had to use a different bag/brand I had as spare. So when I finally got my order in and poured into the bowl, he was on my heels. He actually cried for it and pigged out like it was wet food. So funny. Good cat food.
Caution on kernels
I was very surprised that the kernels were so rough and jagged - like sandpaper with sharp edges - actually broke the skin on my cat's nose. Bought a 16# bag and now have to hand feed him so as not to create a medical issue!
Great Food Flavoring
I have 4 cats and they all love this food, its flavorful and perfect size for them to eat, All the cats love the food much more than any other food.
