You need to contact Chewy directly, not comment on one of their products.
How big are the pieces of kibble? (Saying it’s suitable for all sizes doesn’t answer the question.) I have a pug who will only eat tiny pieces of kibble and I would like to know how big the pieces are before purchasing. Thank you!

Animal feeding tests using AAFCO procedures substantiate that Pro Plan Shredded Blend Turkey & Rice Formula provides complete and balanced nutrition for maintenance of adult dogs. A puppy is generally considered an adult when they stop growing taller. Typically for small breeds this is between 9-12 months, medium breeds around 12 months and large breeds closer to 15 months or more. We always recommend consulting with your veterinarian to determine when it is appropriate for your individual pet.

For all 3 of my dogs the vet highly recommended Purina Pro. She said that is what she fed her dogs. My babies absolutely love the Turkey and rice. I even have the rest of family buying from chewy the exact same product for their dogs.

GREAT BALANCED FOOD

Purina Pro Plan was recommended by our vet when our Lab was diagosed with a Thyroid problem. He loves it and we feel we are keeping him healthy!

Prescription for renal care

My boxer girl has renal issues. Her vet has her on prescription kibble and a variety of meds. I find this canned dog food is very tasty! My girl loves it. I put her meds in six little balls of this food. I put the balls on top of her kibble and she gobbles them up! Thus giving her meds has been a delight thanks to this canned food.

good food just doesn’t work for my pup

My pup usually gets the sport version of ppp but since it’s gone up to almost $80 a bag, I was hoping this food would be an okay substitute. Unfortunately even after a few weeks my dogs stomach has not adjusted, and this food has been causing him to have runny stools.

My dog loves it

I was searching for a food that was nutritious and liked by my dog. Since she is an Australian cattle dog, she has a lot of energy and needs something with a lot of protein to keep her satisfied. This food fits the bill for all things. She likes the shredded blend much better than the dry food

Not so great

My 3 dogs have been on the pro plan line for a while. Initially they did well on it, that is until the formula was updated and it became complete essentials about 1 or 2 years ago. All THREE of my dogs have itchy, dry, dull skin. None of them like their food without toppers. I finally put two and two together that it was the food causing their skin problems when two of them were chewing their skin at the same time. Every single one of the dogs has been to the vet for some type of skin issue while on this line of food, costing us SO much money. I wish I would have realized it sponer. Really sad because Purina is supposed to be the best. It really used to be but not anymore.
