When I adopted my dog this food was reccomended from the organization - he was on the puppy food then. And I just graduated him to this when he was older! I have not had anything wrong with it. Once, I got a bag that was moldy but it was replaced immediately. I imagine it was stored someplace at the facrtory that perhaps got wet. Still 5 stars becuse that could happen to anyone! My dog loves it. :)

MOTHS, LARVAES, AND MOTH EGGS!!!

I've been using this brand for years and had no issues until this bag. I started noticing moths in the bag and thought moths were getting into the bin I was storing the bag in-although I never had that issue before because the bin didn't have openings. So I moved it into another bin and double insulated it with a plastic bag. Still noticed them and a larvae on the bin but inspected the food and found nothing. But towards the bottom I noticed cobwebs and eggs, and thousands of tiny larvaes. That's when I almost cried realizing I've been giving my dog infested food. After searching online, apparently this is a very common issue. So please please inspect your food closely and if you find moths, return it. I will not but Purina ever again. It also makes sense why my dog has been drooling soooo much.

This is what our Golden has been eating since she was a puppy. At some point we tried to switch to a booshy dog food with a color and a type of cattle as their name but she didn't take it well. Not because of the food, just her tummy. The vet reinforced that this was a very good brand of food. So, here we are. She likes it. We like it. And at 10 years she is still healthy... Knock wood.

I mix my female Dobies kibble with soft all natural food grade dog food. Add a little supplement and all done. She’s turned into a food hound and talks nonstop til she gets her meals. She would be happy for the kibble alone but who doesn’t want to spoil their doggo a bit. We just switched to Adult Large breed from the Puppy and it was an easy switch. No digestive issue. Happy pup

The real chicken is always gone first and the dogs come back for it as soon as the bowl is filled. One dog has been known to have a sensitive stomach but transitioning to this food was the easiest he had ever had! And we recommended it to another person who’s dog liked the food and that dog also had an easy transition.

We tried a new food because of allergies and cost, Maddie could not tolerate this food we did mix it with her old food she ate it for about 3 days and then she started to get sick from it. We stopped feeding it to her and she was better right away. Misha handled it just fine. But I want to feed both dogs the same food.

We have been feeding Purina Pro Plan to our boxers for years and they have all done very well with this food. Our current boxer loves the kibble and it is the right size for a boxer. We feed the shredded chick and rice. I love that Pro Plan has a formula for every stage of our dog's life. It is a bit pricey, but it is worth it knowing our dog is getting a good quality food.

Switching to this food from another and very impressed so far. Slowly switched over the course of a week. No upset stomach and doing well so far. Bowels are healthy and not stinky. I like the quality of the food and the pieces of chicken in the mix. The dogs think it’s so tasty and have been obsessed ever since it came home. Good price and value. 5/5 would recommend!

I’ve been feeding my dogs this for years. The soft pieces that are in the food are now extremely large and swell up if they get wet which makes me nervous about my dogs getting bloat. The previous bags never used to have these large pieces and the food wouldn’t swell if it got wet. My dog also would eat their canned food and all of a sudden it started giving her diarrhea. The bag is almost $100 so it’s disappointing that their formula changed.
