This food actually seems to work! I couldn’t believe it, I started feeding it to my cats because my hubby is allergic to them and would always be sneezing around them and after feeding them this food I noticed a significant decrease in him sneezing when they were around him!

I love my cat, but my face gets itchy when she gets close to me, which is a bummer. We sleep on different sides of the bed, and I really miss snuggling with my cat. I heard this product has 10 years of research into it, and that it reduces an allergen in the cat's saliva. I was up to try it. About 3 weeks in, I noticed less itchiness, and less stuffy nose. She must have felt my vibe, because she started sitting on the back of the sofa, behind my head, and what a great feeling to sit back with her... Happy cat, happy mom... My cats Theo and Henry enjoyed the Purina Pro Plan LIVECLEAR Adult 7+ Prime Plus Longer Life Formula Dry Cat food. I got a 5 lb bag, which lasted longer than the 2 weeks needed to see an allergy reduction. My cats ate the food happily and had no adverse health effects over the month we served this in place of their regular Purina One cat food. What I'm not sure about though is if it actually reduced allergens. My partner is allergic to the cats, and he still had flare ups during the month we served this food. The bag states that after 3 weeks there is a 47% reduction in allergens, which is likely true! With that, my partner is quite allergic and still had reactions if he pet the cats. I have noticed a difference in her coat and allergens as well. As she is roughly 15 years old, her fur was becoming less self-kept and more raggedy. Since I have struggled the most out of my household with allergies to cats, I have noticed a higher allergy issue with her age and lack of grooming. After switching her food to the LIVECLEAR, I have noticed a reduction in the amount of her dander. This allows me to spend more quality time with our precious cat without suffering as much with the red, itchy, watery eyes. It took a couple weeks of feeding our 2 cats for it to really kick in, but it made quite a difference for me. I went from needing an allergy pill every day to only about 3 a week or so. And I AM able to cuddle with them again, with only a slight irritation to my eyes which resolves itself quickly. Before LiveClear, my eyes would have gotten red and puffy for hours afterward. Also, our cats seem to love this food, and as an added plus, their coats have become softer and shinier than ever. I've already bought another bag. We own a small farm and my son suffers from severe pollen and cat allergens. He has rescued a 7 year old cat that needed a family. He adores her, but sneezes constantly. She won't leave his side, so this food has been a lifesaver for her and us. The nutritional value of this food isn't compromised at all.   My cats both tolerated the Purina Pro Plan very well. There was no upset stomach or hairballs. The ingredients were good there was no junk in the food. Purina Pro Plan smelled like cat food, which doesn't have a bad smell. I definitely would buy that specific type. I already buy the brand for sensitive stomach after trying this product. I would definitely recommend Purina Pro Plan to all cat owners.

I was excited to try this Purina Pro Plan LIVECLEAR Adult 7+ Prime Plus Longer Life Formula Dry Cat Food. We have a well-loved older cat as well as a well-loved slightly allergic family member. This seemed like a great way to provide the nutrition our older cat needs as well as to cut back some of the allergens in our household. The food looks and smells great. Unfortunately our cat did not seem to like the food. We tried transitioning a bit at a time, slowly, from our regular dry food to this one, but our cat would not eat the food so I'm not sure how well it reduces allergens.
