7+ pro plan cat food
my three cats cleaned their plates. i did add a little warm water and lysine to it . they are 16, 13, 10 and are healthy. its a little pricy but i can't find this type of food locally. thanks !
Purina Pro Plan Still A Favorite
Transitioning our 8 yr. old Tuxedo to Purina Pro Plan's Adult 7+ wet food, she really enjoys the Cod & Shrimp so we decided to include this Chicken Entree for variety. The Chicken's texture seems a bit more dry/gummy vs the Cod & Shrimp but she seems to leave a clean bowl nonetheless. (Previously feeding her Purina Pro Plan Chunky Chicken, she would always leave some of the 'chunks' for later, hence the move to this non-chunky variety.)

Yay for Chicken!
For about a year, I've been feeding my 8-year old cat, Savannah, Purina Pro Plan Salmon & Rice Formula High Protein 7+ Senior Dry Cat Food and adding a small amount of Purina Pro Plan Prime Plus Adult 7+ Salmon & Tuna Entree Classic Canned Cat Food to her dry food. While she ate it, In the past few months, I noticed she wasn't finishing all of it during her twice-a-day feedings. So, I started researching other types of both dry and canned food for senior cats. I really wanted to stick with Purina Pro Plan, so I looked at its other senior cat foods and decided to try the Purina Pro Plan Prime Plus Adult 7+ Chicken & Rice Formula Dry Cat Food to see if she liked it. Well, she did! I was still mixing in the Salmon & Tuna canned food with it, because it's expensive and I wanted to use it up. However, before I ran out, I decided to go all in and buy the Purina Pro Plan Prime Plus 7+ Classic Chicken Grain-Free Entree Canned Cat Food. I have to admit, after reading some negative reviews concerning its smell and the reviewers who said their cats wouldn't eat it, I was a bit skeptical, but my cat isn't a picky eater and I have a strong stomach. :-) Boy was I pleasantly surprised! When I opened the first can, I found the scent to be much for pleasant than the Salmon & Tuna canned food. Savannah came running and started eating the food right out of the can before I could even spoon some into her bowl of dry food. Once I put the bowl in front of her containing the new mixture of dry and canned food, she at it all. She loved it. It's now been about three weeks since I started her new diet, and she still can't wait until meal time and is thriving on this food. I know every cat is different and we cat owners will never figure out why one cat loves cat food that another hates. All I know is, my cat loves her new food, it's good for her, and she's happy and healthy. I can't ask for more than that.
It's no longer pate
Unannounced they changed this to regular chopped up cat food rather than pate. My cat wants nothing to do with it. She's trying to bury it. Now what? She's 11 years old and this is what she's decided she wants to eat the rest of her life except that it has to be pate. The only chicken pate they now offer is Fancy Feast, and it's not for seniors. My cat and I are really bummed out
Cats like it but, not as much as they like chunky chicken!
Was hoping my cats would ‘love’ this cat food as they are now 7yrs old and need to get on a food for their increasing years! They will eat it but always leave some in the dish. Hope they get used to it! Their favorite is still chunky chicken and pasta, spinach and chicken by Purina Pro Plan!
Loves Loves Loves the Chicken Entree!
My cat is over 11 years old and is very finicky. He loves the Chicken but not the others. So, that means I guess, instead of a variety of flavors he'll get just the Chicken. I would recommend Chewy to a friend and the food.
My cat loves this food
My cat is 14 years+ and we usually get the senior 11+ years food. Unfortunately its sold out. As an alternative, he's tried the 7+ Grain-free Chicken and really likes it. I will continue to purchase this food
Did not like
Both of my cats didn't like this food at all, they literally turned their noses up at it. I tried mixing it with their regular food to slowly change over but I noticed neither was eating much of it.
