I have used Nutrish Limited Ingredient dry dog food for several years now without any issues. (My golden is ultra sensitive to chicken.) I was excited to find that Nutrish now makes a weight management option. The front label mentions turkey, brown rice, and venison, 3 things he can eat without issues. But in the tiny ingredient list on the back of the bag, chicken is the second ingredient! I didn’t see that until after I’d fed him it once. He immediately started having itchy, hot ears, and was very uncomfortable. By the next day he had developed a hot spot on his face that required vet urgent care 3 days later. (In the 3+ years I’ve had him, he’s never had a hot spot before.) I dumped the entire 13 pound bag in the trash. Why can’t dog food companies be upfront with their products containing chicken?

It's A Process

My dog doesn't seem to know that there is a difference the Health Weight food and full fat food. We are feeding her half and half to ween her to the Healthy Weight

My dog doesn't seem to know that there is a difference the Health Weight food and full fat food. We are feeding her half and half to ween her to the Healthy Weight Nutrish completely as to not distrubt her digestive system, just been 3 weeks. As for the weight factor we will not know until we visit the vet to see if it is helping her lose her "baby fat." It's a process.

Decent scent

The dogs like it, the smell is good, but it is a little pricey for the size of the bag

I always use NUTRISH Dog Food

I've been using this Dog Food since it came out. I had a dog that was on a Prescription Diet and the price tripled. So I ended up purchasing The NUTRISH Dog Food

I've been using this Dog Food since it came out. I had a dog that was on a Prescription Diet and the price tripled. So I ended up purchasing The NUTRISH Dog Food brand since it has no artificial Ingredients or Byproducts. When I took my dog for his check up at the vet. When the vet looked at his chart and he noticed I haven't purchased the prescribed Dog Food and the rest is History.
