Great for Chewers - no odor
My dog (male golden) loves these rawhide chews. They are a dense roll and the rawhide is pretty thick. These chews last twice as long as the ones from our local big box store, for the same price. However, if your dog needs to be enticed by smell, this may not be the roll for them. There is no “flavor” or odor to attract dogs, it’s all rawhide. I bought a single roll of the same brand before purchasing this large bag. I have them on autoship now.
normally pretty good
My dogs are both heavy chewers and have rather sensitive stomachs but they digest these with no problem. The last bag however have a very strong, chemical-like smell. It’s overwhelming and not sure why this batch smells so much stronger than previous bags. Hopefully it’s just this bag and won’t have any more issues because I otherwise like the quality and it’s a good price.
Not for my German Shepherd Dog
My 100-pound dog would not chew on these rolls. He gobbles down natural rawhide retriever rolls on a regular basis, but for some reason he would not have anything to do with these. Too big, too hard, didn't pass his smell test??? It's a mystery to us.

Dog Lover extreme
Too hard,not useful for my dogs chewing pleasure. I have purchased many chews,especially American made and haven't found chewable ones.
Long-lasting pleasure
It takes my 64 pound golden doodle a few days to polish off one of these chew rolls.
Bad ChewRolls
My dog is an aggressive chewer but could not chew these rolls- they were too hard. Had to throw them away.
Great chew rolls that last a long time
These rawhides have thick "skin" that is rolled up, to provide thicker & longer lasting chew then most rawhides.

The best so far!
These are the largest and longest lasting retriever rolls I’ve ever seen. My dog is an extreme chewer who literally pulverizes everything he puts in his mouth and he absolutely loves retriever rolls. I don’t give them to him daily but he begs for them every single day and gets extremely excited when he knows he’s getting one. So far, these are the best I’ve ever found. The only downfall is that I have to watch him closely because he tends to swallow the last big chunk whole so I have to take it away from him when he’s nearing the end to prevent choking.
