How long does this stay good after opening?

An unopened bag will last until the expiration date stamped on the bag. Ideally, dry food and treats should be consumed within 6-8 weeks of opening the bag. Exposure to air, light, hot temperatures and humidity speeds up the rate at which foods degrade. To limit these effects, keep dry foods in their original packaging and store in a cool, dry location.

This product contains raw meat. The freeze-drying process uses low temperatures and pressure to remove moisture from the meat, a process called sublimation. This process can be used on almost anything, and the resulting food retains almost all of its original nutritional value. It is encouraged that you wash your hands thoroughly after handling these treats.

Terrible - Maybe use as a food topper, but definitely not treats

I have bought several brands of Turkey hearts, but never Remys Kitchen, prior to now. This is one of the worst I have received so far. I'll give it two starts only

I have bought several brands of Turkey hearts, but never Remys Kitchen, prior to now. This is one of the worst I have received so far. I'll give it two starts only because of the ingredients and that they were made in USA, however, all I got was a bag of tiny shards. My Doberman is getting ready for ACL surgery so I'm stocking up on freeze dried and dehydrated treats so I can put in her various puzzles, these are not it. I don't believe there was even one piece in the entire bag, as large as a piece of her food even. To call these treats is a stretch. If you are looking for a food topper, these may work for you though, I can't see them being used for any other purpose. The pieces are so tiny, most of them are even smaller than treats I give to my 5 month old kitten.
