These are not the same!
I bought these to replace the nipples on my Rent-a- coop waterer but they don’t work! These nipples are tapered on the threaded side, and they don’t come with any
I bought these to replace the nipples on my Rent-a- coop waterer but they don’t work! These nipples are tapered on the threaded side, and they don’t come with any nuts to thread them on. I needed to use the original nuts to thread on new nipples but since the threaded part of the new nipples is tapered the nut doesn’t bite on the threads until right near the O- ring, which makes it impossible to thread it in place on the waterer. Maybe if I took off the O- ring then this would work, but then it would likely leak!
Easy to install.
These no longer have a wing nut on the back so not as durable as previous. But, also didn’t have great luck for baby chicks, no fault of the product.

Cleaner low maintenance solution
The kind with big bowls got so messy with tracked waste, the quail constantly ran over them. These are way cleaner and there’s very little stagnant water
