Good news, bad news

I absolutely LOVED this stuff right away. My mom says it looks and smells like Underwood Chicken Spread, so why WOULDN’T I love it? Within ten minutes, though,

I absolutely LOVED this stuff right away. My mom says it looks and smells like Underwood Chicken Spread, so why WOULDN’T I love it? Within ten minutes, though, I THREW IT ALL UP! (and I NEVER throw up.) So my mom gave it a couple of days’ rest and then added less than a quarter can to my regular dinner and I loved it and kept it down, no problem. We’ll continue like this, SLOWLY working up to a full can for dinner. Maybe it’s a little rich (?) or maybe I’m not used to some of the ingredients (marine microalgae oil, potato starch, etc.). I can’t blame anybody (except my mom). They say to introduce new foods slowly. I guess they mean it! But this one is worth the effort because I love it and my mom likes the high quality, limited ingredients.

I just tried a new cat food called Reveal. I really liked the ingredients that are in this pate. The flavor I tried is the Tuna Fillet in broth. Both of my cats liked it, the texture and flavor. I tried it with part of their regular food and part of the Reveal. Apparently they didn’t have a preference, which I was surprised by. I thought they would go to the tuna first but it didn’t seem to matter. They totally ate all of the Reveal. The food was easy to cut into smaller chunks, I’m not sure why they say it’s in broth because it’s a soft solid pate. Over all I can recommend Reveal.

My cat was delighted with this pate from Reveal. The texture is creamy and soft. The can is easy to open too. I ordered the tuna with fillet recipe in broth. She has to have her prescription everyday and this food being so tasty for her makes it easy to add the prescription and for her to eat it all. I will definitely try other flavors and will reorder again. This cat canned food is definitely high quality.

2 of my cats Love this food, the other 2 have no interest in it. I only feed it once a week because it’s tuna, which can be high in mercury. It appears to have quality

2 of my cats Love this food, the other 2 have no interest in it. I only feed it once a week because it’s tuna, which can be high in mercury. It appears to have quality contents and that gives me peace of mind. When I prepare 2 dishes for Cricket and Patches, Cricket loves this food so much she jumps up and starts eating it as soon as I open the can. I definitely recommend Reveal, just limit how much fish you feed your cat. My vet advised once per week, so it makes a nice treat.

This food smells very much like tuna we humans eat instead of a strong, ultra fishy smell, which is nice. I fed it to both of my guys and while they dig right in,

This food smells very much like tuna we humans eat instead of a strong, ultra fishy smell, which is nice. I fed it to both of my guys and while they dig right in, neither one of them finishes what's in their dish. I took some out to the barn and fed it to the barn dwellers with the same results. Both really went for it at first, then walked away with about half of it left. I've tried it several times with no change in how they liked it.

I feel the look, smell, and texture of this food is great. smells like tuna from a human grade can, the look is very similar, just not chunky. My cats are 8 & 9 years old. I gave each of them a can of their own to try. They each chowed it down and meowed for more. My male, who likes to eat too fast at times and vomit, kept it in his belly. They both loved it so I’ll definitely buy again.

At first our 4 picky kitties were skeptical of the different consistency of Reveal - more like a mousse than a pate. But they were troopers and gave it a try and all liked it! Our old guy has dental issues so the soft texture was a hit. And our 1 cat with a sensitive stomach tolerated it well with no issues. Taste must be good because they were "clean platers".
